It was a wonderful events. There is so much talent in Canada
The Carlu - Toronto
It was fun and entertaining. My only negative about the evening was that it was too long. It was more than 4 hours. There must a way to tighten it up, but it was the first one live in a couple of years, I believe, so no one’s timing would have been refined.

Great Canadian talent
The Carlu - Toronto
We went as music fans. Live performances were great. Enjoyed it but it felt like an event for insiders. If they want more fans they will have to help connect them. Not sure that's what they want or need. Food was very good and the ticket good value for the money.
The Polaris Music prize is a not-for-profit organization that annually honours and rewards artists who produce Canadian music albums of distinction. A select panel of music critics judge and award the prize without regard to musical genre or commercial popularity.
Each year, on the third Monday of September, the Polaris Music Prize holds a gala to honour the short list nominees and announce a winner of the $50,000 cash prize.
