    Incredible

by newf80 on 2018-07-09Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

David Blaine put on one of the best shows I've ever had the privilege of seeing. He is humble and real...he makes you feel like he is talking to you personally. His tricks and stunts were breathtaking. He made me laugh and made me scared for him all at the same time. There was autographed merchandise available too which I thought was really awesome.

    More than disappointing

by Humaira on 2018-07-08Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Don’t waste your money. David Blain just want your money. I was a big fan of David Blain before tte show. Now I have no respect for him. He didn’t try to give audience tte return of their money. No visual interest. No effort at all made to show audience that they are getting their money’s worth. I feel like my money was stolen. Scammers!

    Very entertaining.

by auroramom5 on 2018-07-08Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I thought all of the tricks ( For lack of a better word) were very entertaining. I couldn’t believe that it went by as quickly as it had. If I were to suggest anything I would have not done the water tank. It took far too long to set up and perform and recover from and I would rather have seen a few more shorter other tricks. Also it looked it took a lot out of him as well.

    Incroyable!

by Amish on 2018-07-08Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

David Blaine was amazing and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Even though it was a large room, he managed to still make it feel intimate and you could see everything!

    This show was incredible!

by Timeforcupcakes on 2018-07-08Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Watching David Blaine preform is such a treat. He gives you such a charming performance and he's so casually funny. You can tell he is passionate about his craft and has rehearsed his tricks very thoroughly. Yet his performances are so genuine and his interactions with the crowd all happen in the spot. Hrs really quick witted and nice with his fans. His show is an incredible reminder of the amazing things the human body can do. Some of his tricks may be the same ones he's been performing for years, but they are still just as exciting and mind blowing to see each time.

    Great venue, disappointing show

by Haywire85 on 2018-07-08Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I am a huge David Blaine fan, however this was bitterly disappointing. The seats were very comfortable, the venue was beautiful, staff were very pleasant and the acoustics and visuals were fantastic. The listed performance time was 70 mins 1st “act”, 20 min intermission, 60 mins 2nd “act”. The show started about 15 minutes late. David performed 5 tricks in the 1st act, which totalled at about 50 mins. The tricks are always impressive, but 4/5 of them were old material that he performed on TV many years ago (he even showed the clip of many of them on the screen!)! For the second half, he undertook just one “trick”. I will not spoil it, but he has done something VERY similar before. Although impressive, it was not original and involved us just waiting. He finished the trick then came out, sat down and undertook a Q&A. The trick was 10 minutes and this 2nd act lasted probably 30 minutes. This show felt like a recycled performance for people that have never seen any of his work before. For the price of the ticket, we felt ripped off, with a total performance time of probably 80 minutes instead of 130.
