Crazy storms caused the cancellation of Day 1, but Day 2 Toronto came out and showed how we party!!!
Production was great, although I felt the Dreams stage last year was more impressive.
This year, the Dreams stage was more focused on higher resolution screens and visual effects. Also, the sound this year was better, but it appeared that the back speakers stopped working early into the evening.
The DJ lineup was outstanding, but you can tell that they setup the DJ lineup as big name, big name, small name, small name, big name, big name so that there is a 2 hour gap where you are compelled use the washroom and get food and drinks. Smart business move, but not a good move for the fans. Personally, I would prefer it go from smallest name to biggest name at the end like they do at EDC and UMF.
People pay good money to see the biggest names and they shouldn't have to miss the big names because they're on early in the day before everyone has arrived.
Overall, the event was great and it's the festival I look forward to the most in Toronto each summer.
