About

EWERT AND THE TWO DRAGONS IN CONCERT:

In just a few short years Estonian indie rockers Ewert and the Two Dragons have become superstars in the Baltics, and it's only a matter of time before the rest of the world catches on. The band made waves throughout Europe in 2011 with their hit "Good Man Down", and even earned a European Border Breakers Award in 2013 -- a testament to the broad appeal of their soulful sound. The foursome is all folksy guitars, charming guy-girl vocals, hand claps, and poetic lyrics, and in concert they deliver songs like "(In the End) There's Only Love" and "Sailor Man" with a vibrancy and enthusiasm that always get ticket buyers stomping their feet. Fans of feel-good indie rock would be well-warned to catch Ewert and the Dragons now before the masses arrive at the party.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ewert and the Two Dragons formed in 2008 in Tallinn, Estonia, and spent their early days performing covers of artists like Radiohead, The Police, and Jeff Buckley. By 2009 they had started penning their own songs, and in October of that year they released their debut album The Hills Behind the Hills. With the album came their first live performances, and soon they were touring throughout the Baltics. Their 2011 sophomore album Good Man Down was one of the country's top-selling records, also earning them Best Rock Album and Album of the Year at the year's Estonian Music Awards. Since then the band has toured extensively, building a considerable European fanbase with acclaimed performances at festivals like Popkomm in Poland and Eurosonic Festival in the Netherlands. With their third album Circles generating buzz in 2015, Ewert and the Two Dragons have fans looking forward to their next round of shows on tour.
