I think the VIP ticket was the way to go. The food was very good and did not run short. It was nice to beat the rush for the extra hour ahead of time. The Jets tickets made a big difference as well. One suggestion I would make is to have the product description (what's in it) more visible so you can see and decide from a distance which one you would like to try or not try. Some vendors had a single fact sheet or a list of items at the table which when crowded was awkward. Otherwise we enjoyed the whole experience.
Great time. Will definitely be going again! Lots of people but all line ups moved fast. I was disappointed at the limited food options.
Had a great time! So many beers and drinks to try out, the only issue was the lack of food. Typically there are about 4 food trucks, but for some reason this year just a couple concession stands to get food and no options for gluten-free. There needs to be lots of food choices when sampling so many beers
Flatlanders always never fails to impress, it’s a must go to for beer lovers out there!
I'm sure the time limits are in place to prevent people from consuming too much, but I think it would be way better to have smaller pours but more time. Enforcing some standardization at booths would also make things easier to navigate and make things go faster. The biggest improvement would be standardized signs for each beer, displayed in the same place at each booth. Key information like the name of the beer, style, flavour notes, IBU and Alc volume. The food vendors were A Little Pizza Heaven and Jets Dog don't offer a lot of variety. Little Pizza Heaven didn't even have drinks available. At an event like this, where you don't want people to become too intoxicated, it would be smart to sell water at lots of locations for a small margin, not extravagant Jets prices. The cup clean-out areas were constantly out of water, probably because people were drinking the water.
It was a great event as always. I’ve become a bit of a regular.
It was a lot of fun. Lots of selection. Really polite brewers. Some music would have been the perfect addition to really tune it into a “festival”.
We purchased advance tickets with early entry and food. The food was absoutly amazing. It was just disappointing compared to years past where it was pared with beer. You would get a plate and actually get a bit of a meal first. So i was a bit hungry off the get go since it was appies. Alos I was dissapointed to not see some staples there. Like half pints and torque. Both had hourly releases in years past. It made it alot of fun. Also Surley from Minneapolis. The best part of beer fest in my opinion is the selection of craft beer on the ice level. Thats why me and my friends go. It seems that section keeps getting smaller every year. Thats disappointing. I liked the addition of paddock wood this year though.
It was interesting and informative, we got to try many products and found sone we will buy in the future
