FUTURE IN CONCERT:

It only makes sense that Atlanta rapper Future has earned a place at the genre's vanguard with his forward-looking sound. In just a few short years, his stylish, minimal blend of rap and R&B have made him one of the genre's brightest rising stars, resulting in collaborations with everyone from Lil Wayne to Ciara. Future backed up his swag with a series of confident performances in 2013, building anticipation among fans for his 2014 tour in support of sophomore album Honest.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Raised in Atlanta, Future was encouraged to pursue rapping from an early age by his cousin Rico Wade, producer of musical collective the Dungeon Family. After releasing several mixtapes between 2010-2011, he signed to Epic Records, making his album debut in 2012 with Pluto. The album landed an impressive five singles on the Billboard Hot 100, earning him a spot on XXL Magazine's coveted Freshmen list of artists to watch and resulting in a laundry list of collaborations with artists ranging from Rick Ross and Justin Bieber. In 2014, Future embarked on the Honest Tour, in support of his highly anticipated sophomore album.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Loved the show and it started on time. It was never a dull moment, Future (and his hype man) kept us turnt up..."

"...my first time seeing Future and he had the crowd ROCKIN'!! I had so much fun!"

"I was very impressed with Future and his performance."

    Rolling Loud Toronto

    by Jelly J on 2023-09-11

Not the biggest Future fan in general, but I def don't dislike his music. His set at rolling loud toronto even excluding the hour late arrival and 30 min performance was so boring. He did nothing at all. I can't remember him jumping up and down much. After a while I just watched the lights cause there was 0 point in looking at him. Disappointed cause I really did go in curious as to how he is live.

    Night was turnt

by Sajjad on 2017-06-14Rogers Place - Edmonton

The show started off pre slow, but by the time future came out everyone was feelin a vibe. Migos cancelled and no one was informed until the concert began, which was bad since he was one of the main acts.

Nobody safe tour, nobody shows up

by SinclairReviews on 2017-06-12Rogers Place - Edmonton

Was thoroughly disappointed with the last minute cancellation of co-headliner Migos. I understand this was a Future tour but Migos were the main reason I wanted to go. Won't trust another Future or Migos tour. No encore from Future even though he did encores for the U.S. Cities he attended. Canada just doesn't get the same respect.

Nothing but banger hits the security on the floor was a little over the top though.

    Extremely disappointing.

by Kamillah on 2017-06-10Rogers Place - Edmonton

Two artists advertised to be performing on the tour were not performing. Kodak black and migos. Migos fans were notified on the date of the event that they would not perform. Prior notice would have been appreciated. Extremely disappointing and many would have appreciated some money back, the event they attended was **not** the event they paid for.

    Future was disappointing

by Shanae on 2017-06-10Rogers Place - Edmonton

This was something I was seriously excited for but got pretty let down. Migos didn't show up and we weren't even given an explanation. Plus futures performance was pretty dry and the crowd was insanely ignorant on the floor.

    Migos Didn't Show

by KingVanity on 2017-06-10Rogers Place - Edmonton

I paid for 2 floor seats for a lineup of Artists that didn't show up. I travelled to another city spending hundreds in gas, hundreds in hotel, spent a lot on drinks and food, etc. At this rate, I could've gone all inclusive to Mexico and it would've been cheaper. I did all this and the Performers that I wanted to see chose not to show up "due to illness". There are 3 of them in the group. Are we suppose to believe all 3 got ill the same time? B S . Spent over $1000 between tickets, travel, hotel, and food and they couldn't even ATTEMPT to make an appearance!

Saw him 3 times in 2015. Last was at Sound Academy in Toronto. Set wasn't the longest, but it was wild!
