This event was so well put together and classy and beautiful I couldnt have asked for more! The Ballrooms and the ambiance and the food and DJ was spectacular! I highly recommend this for your New Years celebrations!!!
Everything is so well planned and executed. The music was amazing! We can’t wait for the old-school dance party!

It was too much Reggae, and the rooms didin't follow a theme. Was constantly moving hunting down the 30s of Latin music in every room.
Great music. Great atmosphere. Always the best NYE party on the lower mainland! We travel from the island for it.
tThis was our second year attending, the first was good despite the winter storm in 2016 and we were looking forward to another evening and had invited 4 friends. Being a Hilton member I booked in the day before arrival and arrived as I noted at just after 3pm, the room was not ready however our other friends were already in their rooms and waiting for us, The live sax player the crystal ballroom was good but the DJ for the rest of the evening was awful, they really should have checked the demographics of the crowd as he only catered to anyone under 30. As such our friends did not stay and went back to the room before midnight, disappointing both of us.. Having gone to bed ourselves around 12.45 we were awoken at 6:30 am by our room neighbours playing equally bad music only louder, I called the hotel reception who said they would take care of it, which they did but half an hour later . as we were already up my wife and I packed and left, to be fair this was not the hiltons fault and they did take my parking fees off the bill which was appreciated. To encapsulate, we will NOT be attending again.
Great time held by all of our group. Love this event. Our group mostly stayed in the 80's, 90's area though. Nice to hear some slow songs this time.
What a great evening. We will definitely be doing this again next year. Just a couple of things I wanted to comment on. 1) Seemed like all 3 rounds of music were mostly latin or raggae. Need to change it up more. 2) NO SLOW SONGS. I would have loved to have danced a slow dance with my spouse. Need to add these in for next time.
We attended the dance only and wished we had made it to dinner also. We felt like we'd missed half the party and everyone had hats, streamers, glowsticks, necklaces that we didn't get as dance-only guests. Decorations were very colourful, festive and classy. The crowd was good and diverse - I would say definitely 25+ as there were some beautiful young people but majority of people were 30++. I love that everyone really goes all out and dresses to the nines for this party, without being the downtown ritzy crowd. Drinks were $7.50. The dessert & snack tables were lacking a little, I thought. Music - the different rooms were fun and I enjoyed the music but, there was too much repetition of songs and the "latin" music room rarely had any latin music playing and instead had dance/urban music with the occasional latin themed song thrown in. This was a bit of a disappointment for me. Had a great time, though, these are just things I noticed. We stayed at the HIlton and the room was great, parking was cheap and they have great room rates for nye if you book early. Also, their security isn't overzealous and we were able to go up to our room without being harassed each time (which has been an issue at other nye hotel events I've attended in the past).
