Sara B, Bodeans and Jakob Dylon were awesome. Too bad Sara and the Bodeans were not given more time. Only negative was the sound clarity especially during Jakob Dylans set. His voice is his drawing card and you could not hear it clearly. Fantastic venue at Marymoor and great atmosphere with the crowd.
My first time in a J.D.'s show, it was amazing, excelent musicians all of them, Neko & Kelly have beautiful voices... I have to say that I was expecting more songs of Wallflowers but even with just some I did enjoy it... I recommend this show to people who likes to see serious musicians performing good stuff.
When arriving at the venue, my first thought was, that I may not enjoy standing all night to listen to mellow music. I was suprisingly mistaken, when I found myself bopping throughout the night to all of the sounds of Jacobs music, having most of his slower songs....moved up in tempo, with Jacob mostly using the electric guitar! I was so taken in by Jacob resembling his father, yet with a totally original sound and his energy and charisma was so compelling that the evening felt like having a close friend perform for you! I loved the entire band, especially Neko Case...as her beautiful voice was so complimentary with Jacob and I can only envision more music coming from these two aforementioned , in peticular! Jacob and Neko....great connection......musically, and energetically......creating electricity!
