Jimmy Rankin Tickets

Jimmy is one of the best song writers to come out of Canada. He is so genuine on stage and you feel as though you are peering into his soul as he shares his gifted voice and musicianship. I've seen him at least 6 times and hope to see him many more.

I was fortunate to have been to a few Rankin Family concerts and absolutely love them. We included a visit to the Red Shoe and stayed a night in Mabou when holidaying in Atlantic Canada. Huge fans. I've been wanting to see Jimmy so when this concert came up in my feed I jumped at it. We were not disappointed. So. Much. Talent. Although I liked the intimate setting, I did think a venue with maybe small tables and a bar would have been better.

Great musicianship by Jimmy and especially his Band mate. Perfect performance for our little theater. He still rocks and puts on an honest show. Like to see him again as well as other artists at this Venue. Jimmy was very thankful of the student lighting cast ans saluted the school.

I hadn’t followed Jimmy; I’m a Rankin Family fan. Great performance. Folk music through & through.

I loved the concert! I liked the small local venue because it felt more personal. I really enjoyed the way Jimmy told stories between and about the songs. The music and stories about eastern Canada I spited me to visit that region. I can’t wait to see Nova Scotia and other Maritime provinces. Jimmy is so talented as a musician and singer/songwriter. I will book tickets to see him again.. and his musical companion Jamie(?). He was also incredible on a guitar.

This was the first time I was at a venue so quaint. It was personal and they were amazing. It felt like they were in our living room. I loved the story telling. I love Jimmy’s music and have been a fan of the Rankin family since the late 90’s. Great acoustics. One of my favorite concerts. Thank you for coming to our community.

Jimmy Rankin's music is every bit as enjoyable as it was 30 years ago when we first srarted following the Rankin family. Well done.

Jimmy is a natural born talented singer and songwriter and performer too. He told the stories behind his songs with charm and wit. He created an intimate, warm atmosphere in the theatre and often called on audience participation. With only himself, his guitar and another band mate they created a wonderful music concert. I will go to see him again in a heartbeat. Also,, so obvious that he is a very gracious man who connects with his fans.

Jimmy was warm and welcoming even though it was a small but enthusiastic crowd. Lots of encouragement to hand clap and sing along. He is a wonderful story teller; every song has a story behind it and Jimmy shared those stories with us. His song list included both new and old, familiar songs that we could all sing along with. Jamie Robinson provided wonderful vocals and mandolin playing. Jimmy took the time to meet with fans in the lobby and autograph copies of CD's. It was a joy to finally hear his music live and a real treat to meet him and convey my appreciation for his tour stop in Lindsay and his music.

Some old songs, from Rankin Family days, & of course, new songs from newest album. Always takes time to meet with each fan, giving signatures and posing for pictures. Enjoyed Jimmy's talent, and Jamie's accompanyment.
