I discovered his music when he opened for Passenger in 2018. Instant fan. I immediately fell in love with the song “Novelty” and the rest was history. I listened to his CD in my car a lot… I’m dying to hear his fourth album. And I hope and pray for a soon-to-come concert in Toronto!!!

I’m not a folk music fan but attended with my wife...who is !!! Ken Yates was unexpectedly brilliant, the side stage venue at the NAC was a perfect Intimate venue which suited the event. He engaged the audience right from the off, it was almost like a reflection of parts of his life through music. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again or recommend people who just enjoy music to check him out. Can’t believe he’s not a massive folk star.
