Just saw Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers at Seneca Allegany Casino and Resort and my husband and I were totally entertained! The music was great and Larry is not only a great entertainer and songwriter ..he is also a great storyteller and comedian! We would recommend his concert to anyone and would definitely go to see him and his brothers again!!
Great music, well-scripted commentary from Larry, jokes about the country, religions, family situations, relationships with other performers. Good tributes to Roger Miller and June and Johnny Cash. As a herring-choker, enjoyed the references to the Newfies. As a Canadian enjoyed the a capella harmonious singing of Oh! Canada. Some people said it was the best version they'd ever heard. As an army-brat enjoyed the tributes to the veterans. What's the big deal about people taking pictures? Larry asked people with cameras to forget about the security guards and come forward to take pictures. The brothers and the band members mugged and hugged their way across the stage so people could memoialize such a good concert.
What a great show! I've been an fan since I was around 10 years old. 30 years later, the Gatlin brothers are singing the stories that speak to you about love, respect, religion, traveling and coming home. Come back to Alberta boys and I will come see you again.
This was a great show - the boys still have the voices after all these years. Unfortunately the show was not sold out and that was disappointing.
what a great show...hard to believe Larry Gatlin is 62 years old (yes he admitted this) the stories of his relationships with Johnny Cash & Roger Miller to name a few made you feel like you were sitting together in a living room. There was great interaction with the crowd and his voice and the harmony still blew me away.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. it was interesting to hear Larry talk about the entertainers he has had the plesure of working with.

Larry Gatlin and his brothers were amazing. From the harmonized singing of the Canadian National Anthem to his quick wit and rapport witrh the audience to their superb 3 part harmony this one of the best shows I have ever seen at Rama. It was over an hour and a half long, every song engaging and 2 encores. I would be back in a heart beat. Great Show.
I recently saw the Gatlin Brothers for the first time. They were on stage for just under two hours. When they sang, the harmonizing was terrific. Unfortunately, they talked about as much as they sang. I attend concerts quite regularly, and I found the talking a little unusual for a band. They did however, near the beginning of the show, allow anyone who wanted to take a picture, to come up to the stage area for the one opportunity. I am glad that I did finally see them, but I would never go for a second time.
best event in long time - good muscical entertainment at value cost - would go again tonite
