  • Great Venue and Show

by TWLHOBARK on 2013-12-02National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

We had not been to this venue before but were pleasantly surprised with its intimacy. Though we showed a bit late and were sitting against the back wall, we had a great view and the sound was good. Tom & Company were great as always, with the usual seemingly aimless banter I love... and I particularly enjoyed the Sweet Jane cover in memory of Lou Reed.

  • Lee Harvey Osmond - Great!

by LHOAdmirer on 2013-11-18National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Tom Wilson and Lee Harvey Osmond have never disappointed us. The musicians are accomplished and the band, nearing the end of their long tour, seemed to be having as much fun as the audience. Tom Wilson continually interacts with the audience and we enjoyed his anecdotes as much as we enjoyed the music. The only way this could have better is if the show had lasted another two hours! As it was, the band played about two hours without a break and they delivered a great show.

  • LeeHarveyOsmand minstrel extrordinaire!

More commercial material than last years show, but equally satisfying. Tom can carry an audience like a true star and awesome talent that he is. He is one with his audience, a common man unafraid to say what he thinks. Extremely entertaining, I look forward to every time he comes this way. I appreciated the intimacy of the small venue . Tom has a vast repertoire, is a master guitarist and songwriter and really deserves the support of his fans. He has been this way about five times in the last three years (counting the folk festival) and never fails to satisfy. Also I salute Tom for bringing young fresh Canadian talents up for exposure to his fan base.

  • Excellent

Tom Wilson was in fine form, funny, charming a little sarcastic, everything you want from him. The band was tight and Sarah MacDougall opening with MJ Dandeneau was an added bonus
