    Les Miserables was Magnificant

by auntied on 2010-08-20Lindsay Academy Theatre - Lindsay

I thoroughly enjoyed this production. It was extremely well directed and produced amazing results. The cast obviously worked very hard in such a short time to learn the words without a hint of hesitation. Well done everyone!!!

    First Class Performance

by Elmtree on 2010-08-20Lindsay Academy Theatre - Lindsay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this play. The standard of performance was amazingly high. There were some sound problems that need to be ironed out. Sometimes some performers were difficult to hear properly but the level of acting was amazing. The enthusiasm of the cast just shone through and there are some very talented singers in the cast. Jevert was outstanding. Beautiful voice and a very expressive performance. I have seen this play when it was performed by a professional cast of extremely high calibre and the Lindsay cast can be proud of their performance.

Les Miserables - Far From Miserable

by countrygirl09 on 2010-08-20Lindsay Academy Theatre - Lindsay

We enjoyed this play immensely - well done! A few singers were off key at times and some singers were difficult to hear, but it didn't distract us from our involvement with the storyline and the man who portrayed the inspector had a fantastic voice that carried throughout the theatre. Our only complaint is the hardness of the theatre seats - intermission couldn't come soon enough so we could get up and move around! We requested the front row seats in the balcony as we're both short and wanted to see over people's heads, but realized quickly that next time we should sit in the second row balcony as we had to crane our necks to see over the railing.
