The band knows how to play good music that is for damn sure!!! Seen them before and probably will again if they play in the city i'm in!!! If you like punk rock you defenitly should go see them!
Intimate venue, three great bands, what more could you want?
They are absolutely AMAZING - only gave 4 stars because of 2 major reasons which could have been better. #1 - It was held at the starlight room which is quite small and the sound quality was not as good as it would have been elsewhere. #2 - Not sure if it was because of the small room, but the vocals were somewhat drowned by the instruments. They are my favorite band and they rocked regardless. Their CD's are amazing and even "More Betterness" which was recorded live blew my mind with not only the quality of sound, but also their songs. They were cool I got to meet them all afterwards and I also got to leave my camera up in the control area and record the whole thing. I hope to see them again in the future wherever they are, but hopefully somewhere bigger!
all three bands (pour habit, only crime and no use for a name) gave their all. great show all around. Also the small venue was great, we were able to talk to the bands after the show which was an added bonus.
No Use For A Name @ the Underground May 20/09. This show originally was to be held at the Warehouse but was moved to the Underground which is a club below the Warehouse. Pour Habit was an awsome opener. The guys are very energenic and put on an excellent show. I recommend getting to the show early to catch these guys. Only Crime were OK but I wasn’t really feeling them. Even the lead singer made a comment of having a bad day so I assume it was affecting their show. NUFAN were great. The Underground is pretty small so this was an intemitt type show. The guys played about a 20 song set with 3 songs in their encore. I’m impressed with the stuff they put up with. There was no barrier between the crowd and band so Tony’s mic stand kept getting noocked around. Their guitar tech had to hold the stand for the entire show. By the end they seemed to have enjoyed the crowd and made a comment that the show was really punk like (If you were there you would agree).
