I was really looking forward to P & T but after seeing their tv show many times the last year they did all the same tricks I had already seen except for 1. And because Penn likes to talk, boy does he like to talk they only did about 1/2 a dozen tricks, maybe 7. I like sleight of hand much better than big scale tricks but there wasn't much sleight. All in all 5 out of 10

  • Disappointing

by Horndrix on 2016-05-23River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 2 out of 5

I have seen a lot of Penn and and Teller on TV and I love them, however, live I couldn't really see what was happening. I was in row 5 left section. The stagecraft was bare bones, just a bare stage with lots of tape on the floor. They really needed monitors for close ups. If you like Penn and Teller watch them on TV

It was a great show. Penn and Teller are stellar together!

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Would recommend to anyone. Still in awe.

  • Must see!

Having followed the career of these two over the years and now their TV show, seeing them perform in person was a real highlight of our Vegas trip. Their sense of humour, engaging the audience and genuine love of what they do is evident. Even when the audience is not so co-operative, Penn & Teller keep the laughs coming with their quick thinking and wityy comments. I would see this show again should I return to Vegas.

  • Great and funny magic show in Vegas!

by PokeChop on 2015-09-25Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

My husband loved the show more than me, but I still found it quite entertaining. The magic is not ridiculously flashy, so a closer seat is recommended (we were mid-center on the floor and saw just fine but can't imagine what the balcony seats would've been like...). No intermission (which seems to be the case for most shows in Vegas). Make sure you try to get there early as the pre-show jazz music was excellent. There is a casual meet and greet after the show. When we went, they stood at separate places but the lines moved quickly (even though it looked like a packed show). They will do a photo-op and signatures as well. Enjoy!

Very entertaining show we both enjoyed it very much. Awesome magic definitely worth seeing.

  • Penn & Teller very average

My husband wanted to go to this show as he was impressed with Teller from when he was on the Apprentice show. The magic tricks were good but too few and combined with way too much filler talking. With all the great shows in Vegas, this would not be one I would recommend for the price!

We have seen multiple shows in Vegas and this was the worst for a Vegas style show that we have seen. We took 16 people as a corporate event to the show and the general review was the same amongst all of us. I would not recommend the show.

  • Penn & Teller were astounding!!

The show was humorous, spectacular, and just mind-blowing! They interacted with the crowd, entertained me throughout the show and did amazing magical tricks that still leave me guessing!! Would definitely recommend!

They were great as they always are but...could have used a bit of stage props other than a lounge chair. I would think in Vegas they have there own set. It does help with setting the mood for the act. I still think they are awesome and love the fact they come out after to do a meet and great with their fans. That was icing on the cake. :-)

  • Really entertaining....

A very enjoyable show. It just boggles the mind trying to figure out how it was done.

Great show! The only thing I did NOT like was Penn's poking fun at religion/Jesus. For that reason alone, I don't think I would buy tickets to see them again.

  • They are amazing entertainers

by Jay21 on 2015-05-18The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

A blend of comedy and magic, a perfect blend. Their tricks were amazing and after the show, they come out and meet all the fans and take pictures. If there is one show you should see, it's Penn and Teller

  • Waste of money

by Buddy5436 on 2015-05-18The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 1 out of 5

If you want to listen to Penn talk all night, then this is the show. If you are looking for good entertainment save your money! Very disappointed. Purchased tickets early to get good seats. I was offered free tickets but opted to buy so we could sit up front. Big mistake.

  • Penn and Teller was amazing!

I had such a great time. Humor with magic, these guys wrote the book on it. Don't think about it, just go see them.

  • Penn And Teller Las Vegas

by kellythedog on 2015-03-13Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

great entertainment, lots of fun banter...seats were great. After wards they wait outside so you can talk to them, they wait until everyone has a chance to meet them if you wish. I would go again for sure

  • Disappointed

by Realist2023 on 2015-03-13Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

The show was very "old". Nothing really innovative or new. Penn and Teller seemed tired of being there and were a bit sloppy on the presentation. Penn in particular looked like the suit he was wearing hadn't been cleaned or ironed in ages. Very sloppy as was the show really. For the money I spent on the tickets, I was very disappointed and would not nor could recommend this show to anyone visiting Las Vegas.

  • Penn & Teller was snoring!

by TheMayor on 2015-03-03Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

I was so excited to see them and arranged for our group of about 20 to go with me. What an embarrassment! Several of us actually fell asleep during the show if you can believe that! Some of the tricks were totally predictable. The best part of the show was Teller's slight of hand tricks. Penn is such an obnoxious loudmouth. He talks constantly and unnecessarily for the most part. I think in the early days Teller just gave up trying to get a word in edgewise :) seriously, I would spend your money on absolutely anything else is Vegas.

  • Awesome, intimate show

by BlakeMc on 2015-02-20Penn & Teller Theater at Rio Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing tricks presented with humour make for an extremely enjoyable evening. The theatre is small enough that it feels like a very intimate show. Although the show itself started at 9PM sharp, I'd suggest getting there as close to 8PM as possible, since there is some great jazz music and audience interaction before the show. There is a fair bit of audience participation, so I'd recommend sitting fairly close to the stage if you have any desire to end up being part of the show. After the show, they do a meet & greet, so you can get your picture taken with them if you'd like.
