About

28-year-old Canadian DJ/producer Isabelle Rezazadeh AKA Rezz has racked up tens of millions of streams, sold out legendary venues and headlined top festivals around the world. She oozes originality and produces genre-bending electronic works, striking a sharp balance between bass-heavy and minimal tech compositions. Her first independent project - the adventurous Beyond The Senses EP - was released in 2019 and garnered praise from Alternative Press, SPIN and Billboard who called it "her most impactful project to date" and went on to receive The JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year in 2020. She graced the cover of Billboard's 2019 Dance Issue and has been attributed as being at the forefront of the dance and rock music crossover. 2020 marked a banner year for the producer who released her first single through RCA Records "Someone Else" with Grabbitz which has garnered over 36 million streams worldwide and reached #15 on Alt Radio in the US and #1 in Canada. Alternative Press praised the song upon its release, including it as the lead track in their weekly playlist. They called the video "another high point in Rezz's canon," saying, "...the song evokes a sinister groove that will appeal to dance music devotees as well as industrial rivetheads..." Rezz is heavily featured in a documentary called "Underplayed," available on Amazon Prime, which highlights the current issues female DJs face in the dance industry. In September 2022, she launched her label imprint HypnoVizion Records, which has gone on to release dozens of records, has gained tens of millions of streams worldwide, and quickly gone on to become a marquee label in the electronic music scene.

    Pretty good

by A. on 2019-12-30Edmonton Convention Centre (formerly Shaw Conference Centre) - Edmonton

Great things: comfy seats in the areas where we could sit, good security presence, felt like there was genuine concern for safety from staff, good organization with lines, coat check etc. Great production (sound, lasers etc) Room for improvement: no VIP viewing areas, limited seating, absolutely no decor other than the stage. It also seemed really irresponsible and a huge potential liability to have a monster booth giving out unlimited full size energy drinks to people who are undoubtedly on stimulants.

Everything I had hoped for and more

by SlanderNextYear2Please on 2019-12-30Edmonton Convention Centre (formerly Shaw Conference Centre) - Edmonton

Slander and rezz were absolutely amazing. Please have slander there next year. Such an amazing set to close out on. Although my one negative is that security made me throw out 30 pieces of hubba bubba gum that I had brought to give out to people. They also made me throw out a wrapped sucker and protein bar. Which I thought was pretty ridiculous. That’s about 15$ worth of items that weren’t harming anyone.

    Turned Up!

by Tarus369 on 2017-10-10The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

When REZZ came on she told us she was wearing a t shirt she just got from a fan while she was coming into the venue. That was sweet. Even more amazing I was standing next to REZZ mom during the event. How cool is that! Should have taken a selfie with her. But the music was so turned up. I was dancing my but off. I was upstairs in the balcony. Front Rowe hope she comes back to Toronto next year!

    Wicked Vibes

by Souri on 2017-10-10The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I already knew the music would be great but the whole experience was more than expected. Amazing crowd, everyone respected one another's space which is kind of a foreign experience for me, the sound quality at the Danforth Music Hall was surprisingly great. Rezz put on an amazing show - great set and wicked visuals. No Mana, the opener, was pretty sick too. I'll be going the next time she's around.
