The songs and dances were great- brought back many memories

by EL on 2019-10-14The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

I have been to see many shows at the Avalon Theatre over a number of years. Twist and Shout was a good experience but having tried to book Christmas on Ice again this year (again having done so for the past number of years) my experience was so bad that I may not go to the Avalon Theatre again. The shows have never previously been sold out the first afternoon of sales and the price for seats was ridiculous, particularly for a show that lasts one hour.

    High Energy

by Liz on 2019-10-11The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

This show was very well done, high energy, lots of audience participation. Knew 99.99% of the songs, great selection of songs. Show was only one hour and 15 minutes long. Should have been longer!!!!

    Best show EVER

by A&T on 2019-10-09The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

My husband and I saw Twist & Shout at the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview Casino. It was amazing!! So much energy... the singing voices were so crisp and clear and on point with the harmonies. And the dancers were all very talented and full of fun. We have seen so many entertaining song/dance shows on all the cruises we have been on, but this show beats them all— perfection! It is unfortunate that the seating is not slanted down toward the stage, because with someone directly in front of you, I was constantly shifting from one side to the other to see what was happening on the stage. ( and a lady in the next row also had to switch her seat well into the show with her husband in order to see ). That was very irritating- we thought we had fantastic seats on the floor, but next time, I would want to see if the upper sides would give a better view.

    Twist & Shout

by MissSher on 2018-01-28The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

I preferred Rock Around the Clock. The song selection was better in Rock Around the Clock. If I were to recommend Twist & Shout it would have to be to the right person. I didn’t think it had any “wow” to it. We went four times hoping to find some spark.

VERY fast paced non stop music. lights, wardrobes

by DGAZ on 2018-01-14The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

Amazing change of wardrobe! 10 - to -12 changes in 75 minutes. All of the songs performed were only about 12 lines per song, but that allowed them to perform 45 or more tunes.

    Just like the real thing

by StormySandi on 2012-11-05Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

Saw the Twist and Shout show at the Desert Diamond Casino near Tucson. Local boy Tony Kishman was almost a dead ringer for Paul, and Jim Owen was great as the 'older, John in his 'peace and love' phase. They took us from the young Beatles to their latter years, with video footage of current events to date the music. Great sound. Close your eyes and you would believe it was the real thing. Go see 'em if they come to a venue near you.
