The show was exceptional, I hadn't seen A Chorus Line since I was 12. Ann Reinking and Bebe Newurth were both in it. It was magic. Both times I have left with tears in my eyes... Makes me wish I was 12 and still dancing.
This was my first 'broadway' style show and I didn't know what to expect - but had high expectations because I brought my girlfriend for her birthday. She had already been to several broadway shows at the NAC, in Toronto, and in New York. I'm pleased to say that "A Chorus Line" was very good. The storyline was great and the characters were played very well. We had Orchestra seating (row y) and I would recommend getting as close to the stage as possible. My girlfriend was pleased with the show. She did comment that the sets were not as elaborate or complicated as those she had seen in New York and that the energy of the show was a little lacking at times (especially the finale). Other than that - she really enjoyed the show. I have gone to see concerts at the NAC before but nothing like this. I will be going back to see others.
Really disappointed. Dancing wasn't great, too many long "speeches", singing average. NOTHING compared to Greece a few months ago yet the tickets were MORE expensive.
The cast was great, and their performances were great, however, I found this show to be very boring, especially for the ticket price.
