Great concert, Doors to concert should have opened earlier to let huge crowd in, Missed the start of Loverboy, Randy Backman and Nickelback rocked the crowd, Unfair criticism of Nickelback not being televised, They were awesome, and they gave their time. Kudos to the organizers of the event,

Was very happy that I attended and would do it again in a heartbeat. All the music acts were great and so was Brent Butt as the MC for the evening.

    Great job by all!

    by HMJ66 on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

The volunteers, the major contributors and the acts who played for such a worthy cause should all be commended! We had such a good time. Well done! All of the artists gave it their all, but my favorites were Loverboy, Nickelback, Colin James, Jan Arden , Corb Lund & Randy Bachman. Also was very happy to see Randi Boulton there. She did amazing!

We found it was set up right. The other outside functions should set this as the best over all function Calgary has ever had. Orginzation is the key.

Great Concert, well put together. The acts flowed very well on/off the stage. Beautiful summer night, and best of all, 1.5 million raised for Flood Relief. Way to go Alberta!!!!!

Best Concert with or without your boots on!!!

by Ninnienan on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

Calgarians did it again!!! To be able to pull off this concert with all the amazing artists under one roof (stage) is incredible. The money raised will help with the cleanup and the damage done by the flood waters. I am very happy that I was a part of the concert to see so many people pull together for one cause!!! The parking lot stage was also the best to be able to see so many talented Calgary artists that I may never have seen or heard about was beyond any words I can express!! WELL DONE CALGARY!!!!!!!

Awesome concert. Could've done without nickleback.

by Jonna on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

Loved every band. Music was awesome. Classic unforgettable music. Brought me back in time. Not sure why nickleback was the headliner. Very arrogant not to allow themselves to be televised for a charity event. Nickleback was so loud the sound almost knocked me over. Terrible sound. Had to plug my ears. A lot of people leaving while they played. Every other band was great. Unforgettable night! Very well organized event!

    Once in a lifetime event

    by Sid888888 on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

This was a wonderfully entertaining night with all the proceeds going to a good cause. Venue was amazing, weather was awesome and the entertainers were spectacular. A big thank you to all of them for donating their time and monies to come to cowtown to entertain us. I appreciated each and every act and thank them each individually.

    Randy Bachman was great

by TessONeill on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

It was an awesome concert. However, the sound system for the last 3 bands was muffled and poor quality and there was WAY WAY too much talking and time taken between bands by dignitaries.

    Flood Relief

Was spectacular- from all the volunteers, countless hours behind the scenes, everyone who helped in any way - it was a FANTASTIC event. The weather could not have been better - let's do that again & again to help those in need !!

Lover Boy was a great opening act. Lots of energy and the crowd was up for it. Tom Cochrane and Jan Arden were both too serious in their music.........too slow, needed to sing their MOST UPBEAT tunes (maybe they did....lol..). Ian Tyson was pretty darn good for the age of him.....I don't like looking at him now. But it was essential that he was there being from along the Highwood River and all. He has also been the best in Alberta songwriting. His 2 band members are fabulous musicians as well. Good upbeat music. Probably best he didn't sing "Eighteen Inches of Rain" :-). The next bands I didn't know from the past and they were unremarkable that night to me. Nickleback was interesting to see and hear. Those Alberta boys have made the world scene and to me their music is only okay. But obviously, I live in a different time than those who really love them. And actually, they weren't as loud or obnoxious as many contemporary bands can be.

    Every Act was Great

by Quila on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

From the moment the show opened, we were entertained. Music from different eras and of varied genres. There was no delay or long pauses between acts as we were entertained by master of ceremonies. McMahon stadium was the perfect venue for this type of show. Well done overall!

    A Flood of Music!

by BuddyGal on 2013-08-18McMahon Stadium - Calgary

It was amazing because of the sense of community in the joint coming together of musicians and their fans! It felt good soaking up rays of sunshine to warm the body and rays of music to heal the soul! A special thank you to all of the volunteers!!
