Argentine-born Latin pop singer Amanda Miguel became most popular in Mexico, where she eventually moved. Miguel rose to fame in the early 1980s with her late husband, Argentine singer/songwriter Diego Verdaguer. The duo were considered to be one of Latin America's most successful pop artists. Thanks to her strong voice and natural star power, Miguel would later embark on a solo career with Verdaguer supporting her as her songwriting partner and producer. Miguel released her debut solo debut in 1979 with the hit single "Papá, Cuando Regreses." She followed that up with her debut full-length album, El Sonido, Vol. 1, which became a success and featured the hits "Él Me Mintió" and "Mi Buen Corazón." Joining Miguel on tour is her daughter, Latin Grammy-nominated artist Ana Victoria Verdaguer. Born in Los Angeles, Verdaguer began working as a backup singer for her parents when she was only 13. She has since released several albums and toured the world performing with her parents. Her first album, Ready, was released in 2007 and featured the songs "Siempre pude ver" and "P.D. Te amo," which reached the Top 10 in Mexico. In 2012, she released the album AV, which featured a cover of her father's song "Yo No Lloro por Llorar" as well as the singles "Nada" and "Sorry." AV spent five weeks on the Mexican albums chart in 2012. The last album she released was Color Amor, which came out in 2013 and features a cover of Lenny Kravtiz's "I Belong to You."
