This show was so much fun. Em and Christine were hilarious and it was true to the vibe of the podcast. I would 100% see them again!
If you are a fan of Em and Christine and their podcast And That's Why We Drink, their live show is a must-see. They are hilarious, the other fans are also great, and even though I went alone I had the best time.
I have followed this podcast since 2019. When they announced the Toronto tour date, I bought a front row ticket during pre-sales and said I'd figure the details after (needing to fly in and get a hotel). It was so very worth it. As soon as Em and Christine came out, I actually got emotional. It was like seeing friends you haven't seen in awhile (that you can't really talk to). I knew going in that it would be different than the podcast and that was okay. It was funny and informative and just a perfect capsule of ATWWD. I hope they come back for their third tour.
I wish it started on time It was supposed to start at 6 and I was waiting till past 7:30 for it to start and it finished later than it was supposed to. My ride had come by 9 as the show indicated that it would end and I’m pretty sure I missed at least 30 mins of the ending of the show . There was also no way I was gonna roam the streets of Toronto pass 9pm ……Other than that , the show was great and they were hilarious so glad to have went .
This is the second show of theirs I’ve seen and I loved it. Em and Christine are hilarious and my usually stoic husband was cracking up laughing out loud which is a rare sight! I can’t wait for the next tour!
If you love the podcast, you'll love the live show! Being able to see Christine and Em in person is like getting to hang out with two friends and the time absolutely flew by and I was legitimately sad when the night ended. It was so funny and it exceeded my expectations for a live podcast show. Cannot wait for the next tour! Live, laugh, lemon!
Wonderful show - hosts were funny, personable, and entertaining. Can't give too much away, as this is a new show format they're trying, but it was well worth the time and ticket price. We'll be back next time they are! *clink*
Show was shorter then expected and ended abruptly.
Although the venue chairs were uncomfortable, the show made me totally forget! The call-and-response between the hosts and the crowd created an energy that was so fun and entertaining! I can’t wait to see ATWWD live again!
Totally worth the wait! Getting to feel the energy Em and Christine give was the beat ever. The completely diverse crowd that they reach just shows how open and amazing they really are and just how welcome every single person feels going to their shows! I'd give it 10 stars if I could LOL Team Wine all the way!
