I enjoyed every minute!! If you like Barry Manilow's music you will love this concert.
We where three rows from the front and he was fantastic. Shame he didn't sing One Voice as that is the one my Husband likes. Great what he is doing for the kid's and schools. The 80 minutes he is on stage for gors quick. Can't wait to see him in the UK in May.
Still has the voice but the show had no flow a bit disjointed, you can tell he is in pain from previous surgery so his movements are a bit stilted and he missed a few notes in his piano playing, for a non fan average show, for a fan still good but ........
We were very pleased with Manilow's performance... we had originally purchased tickets in the nose bleed section but were offered ground floor row 10 seats just before the show because some of the seats in that area were not filled. Manilow's vocals were just as good as they were 40 years ago and having the Orlando Symphony Orchestra accompany him made the performance absolutely awesome. Manilow is such a modest guy with such great talent... we were so happy to have been able to attend.
If you want to see fansy dresses, this show is not for you. But if you want to see a REAL showman, Barry's concert is the one you have to see and he's worth every penny. I will defnitely will go back again.
Second time seeing Barry Manilow in Vegas. Once at Hilton and now at Paris. This show far exceeds the Hilton show. Much more polished and entertaining. You can tell that Mr Manilow truly want to entertain and make you enjoy his show. Definately not like some entertainers that seem to just be going through the motions. (Celine are you listening???) Barry covered all years of his career and the audience was thoroughly entertained. Mr Manilow proves that you don't need fancy stages and big costuming to get your act across. Just plain old great songs and singing will do here.
The concert was not fantastic....just average. The acoustics at the Paris are horrible. His opening number was filled with the speakers cutting in and out. Once he started his ballads the sound improved. He started 20 minutes late 7:50 and was done by 9:00
You have to be old enough to remember his hey day to get anything out of his performance. Not much in the way of exciting back up.
This is the first time I have ever seen Barry Manilow live in concert. Our seats were great as the theatre at Paris Las Vegas is not huge. We had orchestra seats which were great and had no blocking views. Barry sounded just like he does on his records and t.v. The show was perfect! My husband and another couple had a great time. The whole audience did a standing ovation after many songs.
We came to Vegas to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. My wife has always been a huge Barry Manilow fan and it was great to be able to see Barry's show live and give my wife that special gift.
Barry Manilow put on a great performance. I loved how the show went chronologically throughout his career from a child to the present day.
My wife was the reason that we went to the show, I was a so-so fanilow, but after seeing Barry live and have a whole new view of Manilow music, we even bought tickets and went back the next night. The show was amazing, Barry's voice was spot on and you will never see a better group of artists in a back up band.
The best musical show on the strip. He put Cher to shame. The mixture of old and new songs along with stories of his grandfather was a treat. We were on our feet most of the time but how could you not the music out you there.
Although a bit apprehensive about attending, Manilow was a fantastic performer and the evening was a very enjoyable event.
Stunning, absolutely beautiful shows I have ever seen. Anyone going to Vegas, this is a MUST see show. Barry's voice is so powerful when he sang Love is Here to Stay.
This man is a STAR! I have to admit to not being what you might call a 'Fanilow' but I knew every word of every song, sang along, cried, laughed and came out of this show knowing I'd seen a great performer give a great performance. Even if you think this show might not be for you......GO.....because it will be an unforgettable experience!
Barry Manilow gave his fans everything they wanted and more - fun, laughter and of course great music and a host of his big hits. A tremendous band and first class production - people around us had already seen the show at least once. Can't wait to see it again.
Seeing Mr. Manilow from the 7th row - was really great. His voice was in perfect working order - back up singers terrific - and the band was GREAT! To bad it had to end in 90 minutes. Worth the price of admission!
His voice hasn't changed and is still wonderful on all of the songs. The show was well produced and entertaining.
The quality was excellent. He's still got it even at 66 but the show as way too brief for the dollars. Maybe because he's moving at the end of the week to Paris (Vegas)???? Show began at 8:10 and was exactly 1 hr 15 minutes including encore. :-(
