Bay City Rollers Tickets

This was supposed to be a special walk down memory lane but it sadly veered off the road. There was absolutely no point in paying for front row seats when Casino Rama and the band allow fans to stand in front of the stage - we might as well have paid for the cheapest seats and done the same. Also, BCR need to acknowledge that although their lead singer has impressive voice, the audience really is there to SEE and HEAR the original BCR band member - it was disappointing that Woody stayed stage right (except for 30 second venture) and didn't "chat" during show. Fun to hear all the old songs but thought the band tried a bit too hard to give them an edgier style.

I was very disappointed that there was only 1 original band member playing. There was no indication that it wasn’t going to be the original band members. Not what i signed up for.

The show was amazing. It was great to hear the songs that I heard during my childhood. There were people in the audience that upgraded our tickets last minute and instead of sitting in the 22nd row of the grandstand, we were standing next to the stage. It was a great night.

I don't have enough superlatives to describe how awesome this concert was. Toronto area fans have been waiting a long time for this, and Woody and his new generation BCR band went above and beyond my expectations! I loved every second of it, from the beautifully sung ballads to the foot stomping, arm pumping top 10 songs, to everything else in between. The hits never stopped, it was hard to believe they'd just finish one and launch right into another. Everyone knew the words, everyone was singing along, and many of us were dancing at the stage or in the aisles. On vocals, Ian Thomson was amazing and he was also charismatic. Jambo on drums, Marcus on bass, these guys are such a tight band. They do the songs the justice they deserve. Please bring them back again next year!

Awesome concert, it was brilliant! Bring back great memories.

I am disappointed with the sale of alcohol inside the venue. The cost of tickets today makes the experience of having people get up and down to buy a drink very disappointing. Rama has always been a venue different to that of an arena concert. There are no drink holders in the seats you have the chance of having drinks being spilled on you again disappointing. Although it was noticeably more energized inside I do prefere the way it was. There is lots of opportunities to purchase alcohol outside the concert.

It would have been better if more of the original band member were there but overall it was good

Was somewhat disappointed . Only one of the original members was in it (Woody). It was like watching a cover band. Just didn’t feel that’s what I came for. I’m sure others felt the same as they were leaving during the show. At one point they asked to sing along and when the microphone was pointed at the audience there was silence. I felt bad for the band.

Bay City Rollers (2nd generation) was awesome! Took me back to my early teens. I even remembered the words to most of the songs. Everyone was singing along and some of us were up and dancing. Woody did a great job reviving the group! Saturday Night, of course, was the favorite and everyone was up for that song. The came back with an encore singing Rock and Roll Love Letter. It was fun, energetic and definitely well worth the money!
