Great time. They sound just as good live as they do on the radio
The Bellamy Brothers were amazing! Voices haven't changed over the years, just as good if not better. I would recommend anyone getting a chance to see them, go! The only reason I'm not rating as a five star, we had a table right in the very front which would have been great, but when people started dancing, you couldn't see the Bellamy Brothers very well. Dance floor was packed, so this tells you how good they were.
Great show hope they come back Very nice place Security was good But need more handicap parking All spots were taken not good There was no customer van coming around to give us a ride Walking 10 min just to get to the front entrance
I was really looking forward to hearing the Bellamy Brothers. Unfortunately I really could not here their words because their band drowned them out. Very disappointing. I love the songs of the Bellamy’s, but I should have stayed at home & listened to their albums. The woman singing in their group could not be heard at all. The group were not there to accompany the singers. They appeared to be there to steal the show.
Its would have been nice if the music did not overcome the voices. We had trouble hearing the words to the songs most of the time. The couple of times we could hear the words was nice. Otherwise the concert was really good. It was too bad that we could not get to talk to the band people because the event leader would not ask. We are disabled and have limited access.
Background music was overpowering. Much too loud! We could hardly hear them sing. they were drowned out. A headache when we left. I enjoy their music but this was not entirely enjoyable.
Was the first time I seen the Bellamy Brothers and they put on a fantastic show. One of my husbands favorite groups and he was very excited to attend. Thank you for such an awesome show!!!
The instruments were too loud and drowned out the lyrics
The Bellamy Bros have been singing classics for a long time and their singing was great. However----, someone should have told them they would be playing to an older audience, not teenagers or 20 somethings . Perhaps they would have toned down the instruments a few decibels.Since the music was deafening it spoiled the show, and probably the reason they got lukewarm applause for most of the evening, and not the resounding standing applause when the show ended
Great concert! Lead guitarist was a special bonus. Music brought back all those memories.
The show was very enjoyable and their lead guitar player Randy Heibert 'made' the show with his great showmanship and awesome lead guitar playing. The singing was great as well, but Randy 'made' the show for me.
I've seen the bellamy brothers every time they came to wpg, and they still made a good show. They weren't as good as the eighties, but still would recommend and would go see them again.
I have been trying to see the Bellamy Brothers in concert for 35 years, but the timing was never right. We always missed them by a day, and just couldn't time it right. This time we made a special trip (500 miles) just to see them! It was definitely worth the trip, and worth waiting all the years for!!!
we enjoyed every moment of the show, we knew every song, and they didn't do much talking and alot of singing! the electric guitar player from winnipeg really added some pizzazz, so that was an added bonus to the show.
This concert was really good.... The Bellamy Brothers both sounded great, at the Club Regent Casino you feel really up close and intimate with the performers... your not hundreds of feet away, and you can sit back and relax at your table. If your a fan of the Bellamy Borthers check them out the next time they're close by... and if you enjoy concerts make sure to hit up both the Club Regent Casino and McPhillips Street Station... both venues are really great places to watch your favourite performers.
Awesome this show was just great we loved it. Highly recommended. Anyone who missed it missed a great evening of entertainment.
As baby boomers we thourghly enjoyed the show-lots of memories. It was great to see local product Randy Hiebert as lead guitar.
The Bellamy Brothers sang their hits for over 90 minutes last nite at the Club Regent Casino. With a singing career at 35 years and still going strong it shows no signs of stopping. Strong vocals and great backup band with Winnipeg's own Randy Hiebert on lead guitar. I would recommend their show and would see them again.
The brothers still put on a great show. The venue was very muggy because of the days T-Storms but with the help of some small fans they soldiered right along. Only negative comments were about some of the high volumes with some songs from others at my table. I had a great evening personally.
