    Loved it!

by Mena P on 2020-01-08Bluma Appel Theatre at St Lawrence Centre - Toronto

Loved it all, the sets, the music, the songs, the acting AND THE DANCING! A true feel good story for people of all ages, gender and culture. I was already a huge fan of the movie and this musical just took it all to a whole other level of entertainment, not to mention tugging at the heartstrings. As both a daughter of immigrant parents and a mother of two, I could relate to so much in the wonderful characters and their stories.

Bend it like Beckham: The Musical

by Chello on 2020-01-08Bluma Appel Theatre at St Lawrence Centre - Toronto

It was great. The acting, dialogue, singing and costumes. The stage sets and lighting was excellent. It was a pleasure especially when the first baby I carried in Canada was on stage.

    Adequate

by Nizar on 2020-01-07Bluma Appel Theatre at St Lawrence Centre - Toronto

The play was fun, but overall, it was adequate. The dancing and acting were all great, but the story line didn't transfer that well to a musical. The music was average. Comparing it to other musicals we've seen, I would have to say it was simply adequate.

    Worth the watch

by C. D. on 2020-01-05Bluma Appel Theatre at St Lawrence Centre - Toronto

I took two girls a 10 and 13 year old who really enjoyed it. I was concerned about how they were going to illustrate soccer on stage. I thought they handled it quite well. The characters on stage felt true to the movie. Well done.

An absolutely hilarious musical. Great performances by all the actors. Capturing all the quirky cultural nuances of the Punjabi immigrant family living in Southall UK. Fun for the entire family.
