    Goodbye Beatdown Rocked!

by JadeRhodes on 2009-08-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

We were very supportive of all bands! Black Betty was amazing - for 2 people - wicked show! The drummer was incredible! Venice was having a great time on stage, lots of people were there to support them! But, the real charmer was seeing the boys - Goodbye Beatdown! Very fresh and exciting band! Totally deserved to win. And then the piece d'resistance... Bif Naked! Great performers, great show, great night!

    Bif Naked-Full Circle

by ScooterScatterheart on 2009-08-30Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The CFOX Seeds event is always exciting. For the past few years, I've seen a lot of local bands and great to see some of them make it to Seeds. It's a great opportunity for fans as well as bands. I've attended a few Seeds shows and always great seeing different bands in different venues. As a long time Bif Naked fan and losing my mother to cancer at a young age, it was great to see Bif live again. I'd say I've seen Bif around the lower mainland and Vancouver about 10 shows. This was a comeback moment for Bif as she started with Seeds in her former band Chrome Dog in '93. Battling cancer last year, with weekly chemotherapy, this isn't anything close to a Hollywood pop rehab fat-farm comeback. I liked Black Betty. Lots of sound coming from just 2 musicians. I will see them live again when they play a smaller venue.

    What a GREAT show

by Jojabees on 2009-08-29Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

ALL the bands were amazing -- Venice Queen, Goodbye Beatdown, Black Betty, and Bif Naked. The Seeds bands are all super talented and ROCKED the house. What a fun show - thanks to the Fox for doing this, it's keeping the local music scene alive and kicking.

Fox seeds, winner was good, but VQ deserved it.

by Demose on 2009-08-29Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I was having a great time until they announced the winner, I totally thought/wanted Venice Queen to win, I love Bif, but I was so deflated after that, that we all left after her 1st song.

    Venice Queen was unbeatable!!!!!

by Drexel on 2009-08-28Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I'd like to thank Venice Queen for their outstanding performance last night .It was the best show all night....They wooed the crowd and I' noticed most people wearing their t-shirts and the fans were outrageously in awe with them.....It's too bad Cfox didn't take out their ear plugs to hear the screaming fans cheer them on.!!!!!!!...They sold the most CD's and t-shirts....Goodbye Beatdown had to throw all their t-shirts and demo tapes out to the crowd cause no one was buying them....I saw one girl that got one of their shirts and asked to swich it for a Venice Queen shirt.LOL I would definatly go see another Venice Queen show cause they're energetic. talented, and put on a great show....I wish them all the best in the future....and maybe one day they'll be famous rock stars....Way to go Venice Queen I love you all.....xo P.S. They should've won!!!!! I thought that the CFOX SEEDS contest is about the the fans that pick the winner????

    Bif is super hot!

by Xiphos on 2009-07-30Rylys Nightclub - Saskatoon

Bif Naked was impressive as always. She put on a fantastic show, performing for a solid 2 1/2 hours. She was very energetic even though it was extremely hot in the club. Tickets were reasonably priced. I would definitely go see her again.

A great show. GOB and Hail the Villan did a great job getting the crowd going and Bif Naked did not disappoint at all. She pulled it all off. She is a firecracker!

Bif Naked gives a Great Performance!!!

by PinkPink on 2009-07-27The Bank Ultra Lounge - Edmonton

I love the energy the band puts out there! She's so confident and comfortable and happy out there on stage. She's not hung up on herself, at all, and has great rapport with the crowd. I I wish the sound mix had been better ... it was difficult to hear her over the muddy sound, but still appreciated her entire performance.

    Best 12 dollars ever spent!

by Circa90 on 2009-07-25The Bank Ultra Lounge - Edmonton

Alrite so having a concert downtown on jasper ave in a party tent next to the bank on it's own is plain badass. First off was Hail the Villian which I have never really heard of but actually were impressive and really pumped up the crowd and got them ready for Gob which were imo the best of the night. Gob worked up the crowd by jumping around the stage, climbing up the amps, playing guitar behind their heads, spinning their guitars around themselves, and by playing 5 encores. Bif Naked was on next and was incredible and hearing her sing 'Let Down' was amazing as well as when she did an encore rock verison of spaceman. She was pretty good especially for not being a huge bif naked fan myself.

    Great Show

by BullMoose on 2009-07-24The Bank Ultra Lounge - Edmonton

The first openers(Hail the Villian) were great! Tons of energy! Gob was incredible! The part that sucked about them is that they didnt have any merch. there. Bif Naked as always put on a energy filled out of this world show!

    Kudos to Bif and Gob

by Asher on 2009-07-24The Bank Ultra Lounge - Edmonton

Bif did great, talked to the audience, but not too much. GREAT cover of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica... Got the crowd going with I love myself today, which I think she should have thrown in the set-list a little earlier to get the crowd pumped, but it was the last song... She did some new songs off of her new album "The Promise" All in all, I'd go see her again. it was worth what I paid
