Seeing Bill Nye was an incredible experience, being able to see someone you grew up watching was very cool but also very educational and hilarious. Bill obviously cares about his fans and it is shown apparent throughout the show
Bill Nye is an amazing presenter, engaging and interactive. Put on a well prepared show. Venue staff need to ensure presenters are kept safe and that question periods are moderated.
The event was great in general. Bill Nye was great of course. What made me sad was that they didn't have a second screen showing his face. The screen they had was used for Bills presentation (which was great) but I don't think anyone beyond the very front could see his face. Luckily he has very animated body language and voice but I still feel like I missed out a bit. I know it might have been a pain to track him as he walked around a lot but I still really wish I could have seen his expressions.
The experience of seeing Bill Nye was amazing, the seats left a little to be desired as they are not designed for us husky fellows, but once in the seat they are fairly comfortable. Well timed, started within a couple minutes of planned start time and was well paced.
Bill Nye is amazing, he is so accomplished. My daughter and I both had a great time listening to his presentation on renewables and saving the planet. I have seen him twice now and would go again. He is great at showing what is wrong but also offering solutions to give hope. Not all gloom and doom but does impress us with what is happening in the world today.
Next time I will review prior to buying. The show was geared more towards an adult audience. Lots of talk on global warming and impending doom but no plausible solutions as to what we could do…and have already been doing and should keep doing or not doing. Many connections didn’t seem to facilitate actual change either. Earth is warming but???? Space research is a bit out of reach for many individuals and programs we have instilled in Canada are showing benefits but what about other countries that are over populated and don’t care about recycling or that the earth is warming at a rapid rate. Just a rant at this point but to sum things up…not a great show for children under 18. Stay home and watch old episodes with your kids.
Something here for everyone irrespective of your political views on climate change. Entertaining, informative, respectful! Bill transcends generations!
Bill Nye truly is everything you expect him to be. Your childhood come to life. He has incredibly thoughtful answers and connects ideas seamlessly. Even when someone asks a surface level question, Bill masterfly connects the question to bigger, more complex ideas.
I had a very nyce time. It was so sad when the evening came to the end. It ruled!
There was no where to find out what this even was about. I was expecting/hoping more experiments will be shown or performed not just a talk show. It was definitely informative but just wish there was more exciting visuals. I did find tickets to be a little over priced!
