About

Black Eyed Peas are a multi-plantinum-selling hip-hop trio from Los Angeles, California composed of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo. Early albums in the group’s discography include Behind the Front (1998) and Bridging the Gap (2000), but their breakout came in the early 2000s when Fergie joined the trio ahead of their third studio album Elephunk (2003), which included their first hit singles “Where Is The Love?” and “Let’s Get It Started.” The Black Eyed Peas went on to help define the sound of hip-hop and dance-pop throughout the rest of the decade thanks to their follow-up LPs Monkey Business (2005), The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010). In 2011, the Black Eyed Peas headlined the Super Bowl XLV halftime show before going on hiatus, with Fergie officially leaving the group in 2018. Since then, J. Rey Soul has joined the act as a touring vocalist, and recent albums as a trio include Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 (2018), Translation (2020) and Elevation (2022). In 2025, the Black Eyed Peas will kick off their Las Vegas residency, Black Eyed Peas: 3008.

Black Eyed Peas were great the the ACC. The only problem was the restricted view from side stage, and their sound system was terrible! But the show itself was awesome, especially Fergie! She has such am amazing voice that she didn't need all the gimmicks that the guys do! Great to see Jason Derulo as the opening act - he was also excellent.

I had been waiting a long time to see TBEP. I went to both the Tue. & Wed. concerts. At 48 years old, I found out soon enough, that I can still move to the beat. Both nights I must have lost 5Ibs. as I danced the evening away in my seat. Great show. Excellent sound. Great so see so many kids there with their parents. Hope they come back soon.

  • Black Eyed Peas were amazing!!

by ladybirdncoby on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert and I thought that it was so good! It was really entertaining and I liked how each of the members had their own time doing a solo performance. I also really liked how everyone was dressed...especially Fergie's shoes! I was amazed that she was able to dance so well in them! Overall I thought that the whole night was absolutely amazing and I would definitely pay to see them perform again!

  • BEP was amazing

We went with the Boom Boom Pow package and it was worth every penny. Had an amazing time from start to finish. The only down point was the location of the after party. It was too far from downtown Toronto.

  • The Black Eyed Peas: I ate them up!!

    by Sugarfix27 on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was phenomenal. The E.N.D. CD was excellent, and the concert simply highlighted this fact. The graphics, dancing, and various technological elements kept me interested for the entirety of the show, and each of the BE Peas were entertaining and captivating. The mix of old and new songs in the setlist was very well coordinated.

  • Black Eyed Peas Rocked Unforgettable! awesome!

Great Live performace, a shit load of energy and vibe! The special effects and dancers were phenominal. I would see it again!

  • Sound was baaaaad.

by SBartfast on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

A decent, high-energy show -- except I couldn't hear the music above the thumping bass line. Even when the guitarists came to the front of the stage, you couldn't hear them. Pathetic. The vocals were badly muffled too.

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G is what the Black Eyed Peas are!!!

by SophiePUG on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing show... the four of them together are awesome but when they each came out on their own and performed their own songs it was unbelievable! The special effects were amazing as well as their stage design. We were super impressed that they introduced everyone in their band and their dancers individually as well. Will.I.Am DJ'd and played songs like Michael Jackson and Kings of Leon with his own spin on them. And Fergie singing her songs like Big Girls Don't Cry and Fergilicious. We danced and sang along for the entire 2 hour show, I would go see them again anytime, anywhere!!!

  • Black Eyed Peas Rocked Toronto

by Wendalina on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Black Eyed Peas concert in Toronto on July 27th was the best concert that I have ever attended. The energy in the arena was outstanding. The lights and special effects were exceptional. Fergie rocked the place with her solo performance. The performance by Jason Derulo was ok, because LMFAO would have been better...just saying The E.N.D. By Wendal

  • Fergie needs people skills!

    by Meee1023 on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I found the show to be okay. There were a couple things I thought should be better! There was one part where they began spinning other people's songs for about 20 minutes!!! I listen to the radio all the time, I think it was a time filler!!! The other thing is that Fergie really didn't interact with the audience! The other group members were pretty good but I felt that she was totally not appreciative of the fan support!

Omg the concert was amazing! They have so much energy and the beats are so awesome! Can't help but jump, sing and enjoy! It was over 2 quick and they were on for over 2 hours!

    by Bigfan45 on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I attended the BEP at ACC last night (Wed) and thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was definitely the most advanced combination of beautiful costumes together with fantastic light and video. I have seen a lot of concerts over the years and this will stand out in my mind as a truly unique concert experience. If you get the chance, go and see the show!

  • Very interactive and nice to watch

    by Kristen11 on 2010-07-29Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I like going to concerts to check bands perform live their songs but in that regards the BEP let me down. I mean, their live versions aren't as good as the record ones. In addition, there was a 30 mins break during the concert in which some sort of DJ was playing several songs. The crowd went wild and danced a lot, however, I didn't like it. I didn't go to concerts to for that. I want to hear BEP, I wanna dance their songs! Not random songs from other artists...for that, I go to a club. As far as the band, they seemed happy to be there and the stage was absolutely fantastic! It's kinda cool to go once, but for me, I wouldn't go again.
