About

Black Eyed Peas are a multi-plantinum-selling hip-hop trio from Los Angeles, California composed of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo. Early albums in the group’s discography include Behind the Front (1998) and Bridging the Gap (2000), but their breakout came in the early 2000s when Fergie joined the trio ahead of their third studio album Elephunk (2003), which included their first hit singles “Where Is The Love?” and “Let’s Get It Started.” The Black Eyed Peas went on to help define the sound of hip-hop and dance-pop throughout the rest of the decade thanks to their follow-up LPs Monkey Business (2005), The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010). In 2011, the Black Eyed Peas headlined the Super Bowl XLV halftime show before going on hiatus, with Fergie officially leaving the group in 2018. Since then, J. Rey Soul has joined the act as a touring vocalist, and recent albums as a trio include Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 (2018), Translation (2020) and Elevation (2022). In 2025, the Black Eyed Peas will kick off their Las Vegas residency, Black Eyed Peas: 3008.

It was just what a concert should be.... loud, energetic and nothing like the album... in a good way.

  • The best Show Ever

    by Demon1ify on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

What can I say. This group has one of the best live shows touring right now! T-Pain opened the show, he rocked it. Ok, I will start from the begining. We are in line with me in my Lady Gaga glasses, and my "I Love Fergie" sign. We get it, and the security guard takes my sign! He said I can't bring it in Sad It took me 2 hours to make that!!!! Ok, so we get in our seats, and we are pumped! Chat a little bit with the people around us, just small talk. Then, T-Pain starts his 30 minute act. Unfortunatley, I was a bit dissatisfied with Pain. He only played little bits of songs, but he, and the croud had a good time. After him, we wait a bit... And then the lights shut off... "I am about to see the BEP!" I keep thinking! They started the show with "Lets Get It Started". Everything Is going more than great until a fight starts two rows in front of us. "Should we leave?" I sat, panicking to my grandmother. "Just stay where you are" she said. Soon enough, security had arrived, and everything is ok! We smelt some pot... But you know, what can ya do? :P Fergie was great, so were the rest of em'. The show is a VERY close second to KISS. If you haven't seen them... YOU NEED TO!!!!!!! Pics and vids in the morning :)

  • BEP WAS AMAZING!!!

  • BEP Edmonton, Alberta

    by koke30 on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

Too much screaming rather than singing. BEP struggled to keep in tune, show/performance was unexpectly disappointing. Expected more of a "show".

  • Black Eyed Peas were amazing

by CGMJ on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The Black Eyed Peas were interactive and explosive! They covered all popular hits and as we know they have a lot. Each artist took a turn to entertaint with solo projects. This was unforgettable it made the group more meaningful! You could feel the love and respect that each member has for each other.

  • The Peas do it like no other

an amazing show! Fergie and the boys all did it up right!

  • Blackeyed Peas AMAZING

by Perry on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This was the most enjoyable & coolest concert I have ever been to. These guys are amazing & know how to treat the fans. The prices were reasonable compared to most acts and even their t-shirts were reasonable at only$20 (most acts are double that). These guys are talented & totally classy all the way.

  • BLACK EYED PEAS .... GREAT STAGE SHOW !!!

by FellowAlbertan on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Black eyed Peas were amazing. The music wasn't so loud that it hurt your ears but loud enough that rocked you in your seats. Their tech stage show was nothing short of spectacular. I was at Madonna's concert in Vancouver and other than the fact she had way more dancers etc. what Black eyed Peas did do was certainly of the same "stepped Up" level. I loved the show. I would definitely see them again. I hope they come back soon. However, The warm up group, "T-Pain"... I'm not sure if it simply isn't my style of music or what but there was very little l liked about this group. The music was ok, for what it was, like I said.... Not really my style... but the dancers etc.... WOW.... the ladies were ok... showed they had some skills, they tried to make it polished and there was one guy... the tallest dancer definitely had some amazing talent and it could of been show cased more.... Generally looked like a bunch of kids fooling around on the stage. If it was ment to look that way..... then they did a great job. But as a concert go'er.... it was un-polished... and unfortunately made them look amateur ... which I am sure they aren't.

  • E = BEP not Mc2'd

    by Simon68 on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Was a "boom boom pow" package purchaser, so expectations were gonna be set hi, for that price. Before the show we were escorted into the VIP Area for a small pre party..Open snack food and beverage bar, with Personal Dj music , was provided for us. Followed by a personal tour of all the backstage workings and dressing rooms. Returning to party a new spread of food was laid out for us , including baked chicken, sides, and of course, a dish of Black Eyed Peas....Nice Touch....From there, it was time to head to our seats for the opening act from T-pain. At this point was my first , and only dissapointment...Yes we were stage side first row, but all view of the main stage was blocked by the stage side catwalk platform...we had to completly crowd the people in the seats beside us to catch any perfomance even at only the front of the main stage....A for the rest of the show, An appetizer from T-pain hit the spot to get the crowd going, Folowed with the main course of Will, Fergie, Taboo, And Apl... The crowd ate up the group and individual performances by each...pure energy was served up by the Peas. For dessert, was a cannon confetti works and the Peas introducing the Band, then everyone else, in this finaly of the tour. Thanks for the Packaged gifts, Party, Autographs, Backstage tour, and a show to remember....:-)

  • Black Eyed Peas Rocked!!

by GdawgDub on 2010-08-24Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

BEP rocked Calgary! They played the crowd, they belted out their songs with such energy, there wouldn't have been a dispointed fan in the crowd! will.i.am even gave a little motivational blurb to the kids in the stands! It was fantastic!! No band can out perform the Black Eyed Peas!!!!

  • Black Eyed Peas Edmonton Last Stop World Tour Conc

    by Rock2009 on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I throughly enjoyed the Concert. I rate it as one of the Best Concerts of all the Concerts we have attended over a number of years. I have seen some the the Biggest and Greatest Acts and Performers over the past ( 30 years ). The Lightning with the Lazers was increbile. The Edmonton last stop on the World E.N.D. Tour was unforgettable...

  • Not What I Expected

    by Hlady00 on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I have to be honest in that when the tickets for BEP went on sale, I was somewhat hesitant as I have seen them on TV and such and didn't know if I wanted to pay $100+ to see them live... HOWEVER I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID!! It was incredible! They put on such a good show. It was full of energy and everyone in Rexall Place was jumpin! I would strongly recommend seeing them. Will.i.am is truly talented and Fergie has an amazing voice. One negative point would have to be the opening act - T-Pain. He was absolutely horrible. Most of his 30 minute act was lounging around stage, I think he sang three songs? Horrible.

  • Awesome Show, Dead Crowd

    by mattaya90 on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

I had high hopes for this show and they were met. Everything about the show was above and beyond. They played old songs, new songs, and solo songs. The outfits were awesome, the lights were amazing. The only thing that killed this concert for me was the crowd was dead. We never got out of our seats. For a "party" themed concert, it was a very poor crowd. Otherwise, I could complain that the stage design was crafted so that you get optimal view from the front and only the front, but that wasn't so bad.

  • Black Eyed Peas

by Waggs on 2010-08-24Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

More of a "show" than a concert...but totally worth seeing at least once!

  • by MojoAgogo on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Total package it was al you would expect and more everyone had a great time it was amazing!

  • Great Show!

by jadenite on 2010-08-24Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

My only complaint would be the down time between the T-Pain and the Black Eyed Peas. Almost an hour was too long a wait. Otherwise the performances were great!!

  • by dedalus on 2010-08-24MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show... very organized getting in and out of the MTS center.

  • Black Eyed Peas Know How to Rock!!

This show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The energy was high throughout the show and could be felt by everyone in Rexall!!!
