About

Black Eyed Peas are a multi-plantinum-selling hip-hop trio from Los Angeles, California composed of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo. Early albums in the group’s discography include Behind the Front (1998) and Bridging the Gap (2000), but their breakout came in the early 2000s when Fergie joined the trio ahead of their third studio album Elephunk (2003), which included their first hit singles “Where Is The Love?” and “Let’s Get It Started.” The Black Eyed Peas went on to help define the sound of hip-hop and dance-pop throughout the rest of the decade thanks to their follow-up LPs Monkey Business (2005), The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010). In 2011, the Black Eyed Peas headlined the Super Bowl XLV halftime show before going on hiatus, with Fergie officially leaving the group in 2018. Since then, J. Rey Soul has joined the act as a touring vocalist, and recent albums as a trio include Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 (2018), Translation (2020) and Elevation (2022). In 2025, the Black Eyed Peas will kick off their Las Vegas residency, Black Eyed Peas: 3008.

  • Black Eyed Peas was awesome

    by cdawg23 on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The show it self was amazing.... the seats that we had sucked as we were not able to see the screens. Future shows the seating at the Dome should take into consideration what the performers are using.

  • Black Eyed Peas = best night ever :)

by IloveBEP on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The Black Eyed Peas put on an unforgettable show. T-Pain started off the night and was amazing. His dancers and himself were incredibly talented, his songs were great for a warm up ( good life (Kanye West) kiss kiss (Chris Brown) I'm on boat ( The Lonely Island) and many others got the crowd off their feet and dancing. It was a 29 minute long party :) - Then came the Black Eyed Peas starting off the night with let's get it started were great they all were so talented and sounded amazing live. The backdrops were amazing and they played different point of the arena. Mid way they each did their own mini show starting with app.de.ap who performed Begot and Mare was great the dancers were amazing. Then came Taboo who rose from the stage on a motorbike the was lit up and rode in the air above the ground level until his performance was done he performed Rocking to the Beat. Then was Fergie and the crowd went wild, she performed Fergalicious, Glamorous, and Big girls don't cry. She was great she displayed her vocal talents so well from being pop to soulful in Big girls don't cry. Will.i.am performed in the sky on the rising dj both he mixed many songs of every genre from usher to nirvana. All in all the show was great for the price the tickets were I would go again and again. I would 100% recommended them to everyone I know it was a great night to be remembered thank you black eyed peas and t-pain for the best Sunday night of all times :)

  • Amazing Special Effects!

by ShaunB on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The show's special effects were absolutely amazing - from the subtle smoke to the earth spinning atop to the huge screens! Very entertaining! There were a few drawn out wait-times that could have been lessened but regardless, the show was definitely worth it. The artists themselves are quite funny & knew how to get the crowd going. The costumes were awesome! I would recommend Fergie not wear the high heels as she looked soooo awkward, but whatever, it's her choice I guess! Definitely go if you have the chance!

The concert was fabulous! There stage presence was like no other. They certainly do no how to work the crowd, there was something for everyone. It was great that they played music from earlier days and each individual Band member!!!

  • Amazing concert!!!!

by NFLfan on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The black-eyed peas put on an amazing show in Calgary last night. One of the best concerts I've seen. Excellent energy, sound quality and playlist!!! The only drawback was the side-stage seats missed out on some of the view/special effects because the side screen they put up was so low only the first 2 rows of seats could see it. I'm guessing this was the Saddledome staff's issue, not the band's.

Absolutely wonderful show. Really high energy. The whole crowd was rocking. Special effects were awesome. Great!

  • PARTY TIME WITH THE BLACK EYED PEAS

by Mammad on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Brought my 14 year old daughter and her friend and we were ready for a great night. I wasn't prepared for how much fun we were going to have. The Black Eyed Peas are an amazing band and they are AMAZING entertainers. They had this 52 year old Mom up dancing like everyone else. Thanks Black Eyed Peas for a night this Mom and daughter will never forget!!

  • BEP put on a great but short show

by Anonymous on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

It was a very exciting concert. Excellent music great costumes. Surprised by the variety of music. Very dissappointed at the short length of the concert. Maybe an hour and a half? No encore. Almost seemed as though they stopped before the end of the last song. They could've at least sang their way out if they were leaving for good without and encore.

  • by Anonymous on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome show, entertaining the whole night. High energy, good variety of songs and props. loved it.

  • Black Eyed Peas rocked the Saddledome!

by yycgirl on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing! It was non-stop fun from the start to finish. T-Pain was decent, but the Balck Eyed Peas definitely stole the show with their continous hits. I couldn't stop myself from dancing or singing along as the upbeat atmosphere was contagious. It was definitely a night to remember! Some highlights: will.i.am's dj set, "Where is the love" (when everyone waved their cell phones as a show of love and unity), and the grand finale "I gotta feeling" which included the audience being showered with confetti.

  • It was OK

by FanMJ on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

They didn't come back for encore, the DJ time from Will I am was way too long.

  • What a concert!!!

  • This was the most fun concert I've ever been to!

by rswab on 2010-08-23Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

The Black eyed Peas are not only musicians but they are performers! Fantastic! Lots of fun!

  • by Anonymous on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Completely refined since seeing them open for U2. Absolutley an increadible concert!! Shows off the diverse talent that each member brings to the band. They are definetly not a one man show! And MAN can Fergie sing!! She's the glue that hold and brings the band to the forefront! The cherry on the top!

  • by Anonymous on 2010-08-23Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

So awesome, like a big dance party. There was so much positive energy and we had such a great time. We could have done without TPain but BEP were well worth it.
