    Awesome show at the Phoenix!

by Cidalia on 2010-04-13The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Black Rebel played a great set. Old and new songs which was great! The whole crowd went crazy for Aint No Easy Way....so much fun. The light show was amazing. Especially for the Encore. The Phoenix is a great venue, one of my favs. Can't wait for Black Rebel to come back to Toronto.

    Fabulous Baby!!!

by lavalizard on 2010-04-12The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Great energy to this show - they sounded amazing - the mix was much clearer from the April 1st show. Mind-blowing performance - really, really tight - can't wait for their return to Toronto!

    BRMC Oven

by lavalizard on 2010-04-04The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Great to hear the new material live - in typical fashion the live set sounded even better than the recorded stuff... Tight - Leah fits right in and the set really built up in terms of energy - as good as the Mod Club gig or any of the Kool Haus gigs. But the heat - c'mon - it was like the Phoenix had the heating on - it was sweltering. I saw some dude faint. Crazed - people left early cause of the heat - messed up. Phoenix - turn the fans on!!!! The band must've been dying from the heat. Great set - can't wait to see them on the 11th when they're back!

    BRMC is an experience!

by kidgibnick on 2010-04-03The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Honestly, I feel bad for anyone who wasn't able to experience this show! The lighting was unreal, mixed with thick and heavy guitar and bass tones, and pounding drums by a great female drummer. The crowd loved every minute, and the they're set including what seemed like two encores went on for over 2 hours...a long set, but it didn't seem too long..in fact it wasn't enough...because you can never get enough BRMC!

    New age of rock

by DanHammer on 2010-04-02The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Fantastic show. These guys are loud and heavy, just like rock should be. If you want to see where rock and roll has gone, the right way, BRMC is the band taking us into the new century while retaining the explosiveness of the original wave in the 50's. PS the new drummer rocks.

Best Concert in Toronto this Year!

by Anonymous on 2010-04-02The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

After an incredible two hours of playing some of their best hits and new songs, BRMC continued to amaze us last night. Their encore was full of raw emotion when they played Shadow's Keeper and and Red Eyes and Tears. It's great to see a band that knows how to play to their audience.

    Awesome concert!

by Anonymous on 2010-04-02The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Great performance. BRMC is such a great band to see live. I enjoyed the setlist and just watching the band play the instruments. Also, loved the dark atmosphere of the concert. The only thing that I didn't like was the crazy moshers in the front. They were rude to other people around them, ended up throwing a dirty shoe on the stage (how disrespectful of the band) and were yelling all sorts of offensive things during the concert including making gestures towards Leah. It's a shame that people like that come to BRMC concert and consider themselves fans. They ruin the experience for the true fans who come to see the band instead of getting completely stoned.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club @ The Commodore

by CrazyCatLady on 2010-03-08Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

This concert was a bit different than what I was expecting. The band sounded good but it was an odd selection of songs, in my opinion. The crowd seemed underwhelmed too; there was less energy in the room than most concerts I've been to. Overall a good, not great, show.

This is my first time seeing BRMC. They sounded great, played well and really seemed to connect with the crowd. I was impressed with the amount of interaction they had with the audience and they were quite humble and gracious. They played songs from every album, including newly released Beat the Devil's Tattoo, and old favorites such as Spread Your Love and Ain't No Easy Way. There was something there for everyone. Not only that they played a very long set so you were really getting value for money here! Highly recommended!

    B.R.M.C. = Good times

by Bdot on 2010-03-08Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

All in all a good solid show with lots of energy. Only downside was hoping for some more songs from my favourite CD of theirs 'Howl'. I guess I am just a sucker for the harmonica.

B.R.M.C. a must see, you get your money's worth!

    by rozie357 on 2010-03-07Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't expect B.R.M.C. to be that good live. I was under the impression the Albums had a lot of production on them, and was wondering how they would pull it off live. I guess they showed me! I was impressed with the drummer! She has a great style and keeps a solid meter throughout the show. They are a talented group, displaying their multi instrumental abilities. The only complaint I had is the harsh light show. I found I was so blinded by the lights that, A) I couldn't see what they musicians were doing on their instruments, and, B) the lights gave me a head ache by the end of the show. Apart from that, the show was awesome! They played for a full 2 hours! I also loved the back up band, the Whigs, good energy!

Put on a killer rock show at the Commodore. Never go out of their way to engage the audience, you are brought along by the sheer intensity of their performance.

Great Show! 2 hour set - did a good mix of all of their songs. Did an Acoustic Bob Dylan cover as well. Great Vibe to a sold out crowd at the Commodore in Vancouver.

BRMC - a must see concert

by highnoutside on 2010-03-07Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Who would have thought that BRMC would be able to top their last performance in Vancouver at Richard's........what an amazing show last night at the Commodore. BRMC has to be the most underrated band around. How these guys are not opening for bands at the stadium stage is beyond me. I've seen more shows than one can count....and this is a must see. Looking forward to the new release this month.
