  • Great till lead singer roasted my dancing/signing

by DeafDancer on 2023-09-20History - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I was dancing at the back pretty hard cause the songs were bangers. I've been a huge fan since I was a teen and thier music helped me get through my diagnosis of degenerative hearing loss. I learned all the lyrics in ASL which has become my main language of communication now, and so I often Sign the lyrics while I dance. Well the lead singer Andy roasted me and ruined my night. I guess he saw my 6'1 self dancing in the back were everyone else dancing was and he stopped after 5 songs and said to the whole crowd 'i don't mean to call anyone out, but if you noticed me laughing it's because there is someone who looks like they are wafting thier armpits' my friends who were with me told me what happened and they think it was me he was refering to because some signs can look like that from far away especially when it's dark and from a downward view. Really made me feel embarrassed and sick even though everyone around me was complimenting me.

  • Bvb experience

by Liz on 2023-09-20History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I’ve seen bvb many times and I feel this time was only ok. It wasn’t very organized and they didn’t play for long. It was kinda disappointing.

  • One of the best shows ever!

by Alley on 2023-09-20History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a little confusing at the beginning, trying to enter the venue, but it was all worth it. The band was awesome even though the show took longer than usual to start.

  • Absoilutely amazing!

by Nick on 2023-09-20History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Waited 8 years to see BVB again and I was not disappointed. The opener Dark Divine was great and really pumped up the crowd. BVB killed it and Andy and the gang gave off an amazing energy. An unforgettable experience.

They just freaking killed it tonight! 🤟🏻 It was my first bvb (or any concert, for that matter) and I already can't wait to see BVB in Montreal again! ❤️

  • Horrible sound

    by Melanie D on 2022-12-01Place Bell - LavalRating: 3 out of 5

I sat for 3 of the 4 bands (I missed Atreyu). Only Ice Nine Kills had good sound. Whoever was doing the sound for Black veil Brides needs to be fired. Couldn't hear the singer at all unless he was screaming. Not sure I'll be coming back to the Place Bell.

  • Excellent show

  • Incredible!

Ice Nine Kills are the greatest band in the world 🖤 Motionless in White a close second place! I traveled from the GTA to Montreal because my Toronto one was canceled. Was a great trip!

  • Mind-blowing

    by Laddy.Liily on 2022-11-24Place Bell - LavalRating: 5 out of 5

Three of favorite bands of all times together was insane. I almost lost my voice which as a receptionist it's not a good thing but didn't care it worth every second of it. Atreyu was amazing as well. The sound amazing only thing i don't like about place bell is that they don't let you keep the cap of your bottles i mean wtf? Why?

  • AMAZING

  • Great show but bad sound levels

by Marmaud on 2022-11-24Place Bell - LavalRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show! Atreyu, Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills and Black Veil Brides really did great, the energy was contagious and we were really happy to be part of it. Obviously, we knew we would get out of there with ringing ears before we came in. But somehow, we had to leave after the second song of Black veil brides, because the music became straight noise as the guitars and the microphone distortion was the only thing we could still hear. I love the voice of Andy (BVB) and my husband gave me those tickets because he knew I loved them, but I had no choice but to leave, it was too painful to stay. Before getting blamed, we do not have sensitive ears, this was not our first metal show (So far, we have seen Sabaton, Kamelot, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Alestorm and so many others on so many occasions before this show). It was not the venue's fault either, as the sound for Sabaton two weeks before was great. I just think that BVB roadies simply put the guitars' microphones too high in regard to the singer's voice, and Andy simply got drowned in the basses and guitars for us to hear him properly. But I did discover MIW and INK and it won't prevent me from going back to see Black Veil Brides next time they come to Montreal! Love Maud

  • Solid performances

by Shawn on 2022-11-24Place Bell - LavalRating: 4 out of 5

For once, the sound was actually good at Place Bell. This was surprising. I would of given 5 stars because each band were flawless, but the stage itself deserves less.. the speakers were in the way and hid my view of the stage
