About

blink-182 are one of the biggest mainstream rock crossover bands of the 21st century, sustaining multiple iterations to sell over 50 million albums worldwide and notch two No. 1 albums in two decades. Formed in 1992 by bassist Mark Hoppus, guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor, the pop punk pioneers became staples of their local San Diego scene as well as the Warped Tour circuit before breaking through with their sophomore effort Dude Ranch (1997). The Aquabats drummer Travis Barker took Raynor's place ahead of blink-182’s 1999 breakthrough, Enema of the State, and with this new core lineup, the group earned their first of eight Top 10 albums behind their first Hot 100-charting hits “What's My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” blink-182’s 2001 follow-up Take Off Your Pants and Jacket debuted atop the Billboard 200, while 2003’s self-titled album revealed a significant artistic shift on singles like “I Miss You,” which would top the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Following a hiatus, the trio reconvened for 2011’s Neighborhoods before Alkaline Trio singer and guitarist Matt Skiba took over for DeLonge in 2015. 2016’s California became blink-182’s second No. 1 album, featured their first Gold single in over a decade, “Bored to Death,” and went on to score the group’s first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album in 2017. The core lineup of Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker officially reunited in 2022, and ushered in their album One More Time… in October 2023. One More Time… peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking their third career chart-topper. blink-182 followed up in September 2024 with an expanded version of the album, One More Time…Part-2, which featured eight previously unreleased songs.

  • blink welcome back!

    by emster89 on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Was not a fan of the bands that performed and opened for blink 182 but they did alright until blink came out on the stage and did an absolute amazing performance with lots of colorful stage set up some great humour and of course all around great singing out of all the concerts that I have been to I can definitely say this is definitely one of my top favourites! I came into this concert not knowing what to expect at all and was completely blown away! no band has had the drummer sit on a revolving drum set moving around at all sorts of angles and have a drum session that was such a cool thing to see! I would DEFINITELY see them again if they decide to come back and tour once more!

  • Its like they never left us

Although All American Rejects performance was horrible, and somehow they butchered their own songs, the show was still salvaged by the amazing performance by Blink 182. Mediocre bands opened, Ill Scarlett took the place of Fall Out Boy, I believe. But all in all Blink 182 was amazing, and they put on a show that I will never forget. Not only did they play some classics, but they added in banter that still showed they were young at heart. Definitely worth it.

  • Amazing night!

Best concert that i've ever been to! Opening acts were amazing and OF COURSE Blink 182 did the best :D I'm so happy, the merchandise was a fair price and this concert was worth it, there's no denying that.

    by pirate0r on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Blink played all their best songs, starting with Dumpweed and finishing with their all time classic Dammit. I'd go again tonight if they did another show here in Vancouver.

Last night I took my 9yr old to her 1st concert and every time I looked at her she had an ear to ear smile on her face, which in my mind I would have paid tripple just to see that look, she had a great time,Blink put on a great show, Travis killed the drums especially in his huge solo, I will be forever greatfull for the band reuniting thanks again Tom Travis and Mark

OMG! Words cannot even begin to describe what an amazing concert this was. I did not like the first 2 bands very much, but all american rejects and blink 182 were to die for. Travis Barker is my hero! The energy in the arena was so high and omg i just wanna re-live that night. it was amazing!

  • Blink 182 was awesome

by BlinkFan on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I was pretty excited that Blink 182 are back together and touring again, I saw them at Edgefest years ago (maybe 2003) and they're stil rocking it. It was nice they played a good mix of old time favourites and stuff off their latest CD. They put on a real good show and I think the crowd got what they came for...good old punk rock.

  • Amazing Drummer!

by Ratman on 2009-07-29General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show with some good opening acts. Drummer was amazing! Great stage effects! Great show overall!

  • Blink 182 is back...like they never left...

by Hombre on 2009-07-27The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Chester French opened. Odd choice for an opening act?! They should open for Jason Mraz....Good excuse to go get a margarita....Motion City was great! Would have bought their new CD if it would have been for sale with the T-shirts..hint hint....Blink rocked the Joint. Venue was perfect. The floor was crazy with the mosh pits forming everywhere! Travis is the best drummer in the world!! Mark is a hottie and Tom is odd sexy?!?! Hope they keep playing from the old folk home 30 years from now!! Go see them! Best live concert ever! Definitely!!!
