Show was really well done. We laughed, we cried laughing, we got scared they would pick us from the audience, but overall we had a blast. The crew is amazing!! If you are looking for value this is the show to go see.
A little slow in spots and a drumming was a little repetitive at times. At full price not sure it was worth it.
My husband and I had decided we wanted to go for a date night to see a show. It was something different for sure! I was looking at various videos online of what to expect but was a bit disappointed based on what I had seen online vs what was at the actual show. Most of their performance was good, but there were some areas that were lacking. For instance, any time they interacted with the audience, it was a bit slow and drawn out. Too much time was taken to find audience members to participate. They could have made that part more of a "wow factor" as well. Their light show and use of various tools/instruments for the musical and sound part was really good. Overall, it was more of a family show and it appeared the kids in the audience cheered and loved it a bit more than, say the adults did.
Blue Man Group was an amazing show once again. (I've seen it over a decade ago at Las Vegas, and now again on tour in Hamilton.) The 'blue men' performers are incredibly talented and skilled, from playing music (percussion) on just about anything (drums, pipes, bars, etc) to improv-drama skits with individual audience volunteers, to engaging the entire audience in collective participation. The band is also very talented, playing music a variety of music (live!) and always in sync with whatever the performers are doing on stage and/or in the audience rows. Thank you for producing such a joyful and engaging experience, again!
Honestly it is amazing to watch ad highly suggest getting either front row or any seat on the main floor. They know how to turn the audience into part of the show. It's a mixture between a concert and mime act with a whole bunch of I'm not even sure how to explain in between, none the less it was amazing to say the least
The show was full of outstanding percussion music, hilarious comedy, incredible visuals, and a lot of audience interaction. I have seen the Blue Man Group twice in Las Vegas and this show ranked right with those!
Had seen/heard of the Blue man group for years so thought would check it out but was truly unsure what to expect. Didn’t realize it would be comical and interactive. It was a good interesting show but didn’t leave in amazement or in awe
I was very disappointed by Spectacular. There was basically no content to the show and the parts with the audience reminded me of a kindergarten parties. The Complex Rock was absolutely phenomenal. Spectacular is not. I would go to see The Complex Rock again and again..
Blueman group was fabulous.. well worth going to see.. very entertaining..took my grandchildren and they also loved it
I have seen Blue Man Group many times. Have seen their Vegas shows, their permanent show in Toronto (years ago) and at Copps Coliseum as well. All shows are very good and a lot of fun. I found this show fun but nothing spectacular. The ending was a let down as usually they end with something huge!! I missed the white pipe instrument which has been replaced with a more modern instrument. A couple acts were boring. I still enjoyed it and a first timer may love it but as someone who has experienced them many times it was a bit of a let down. Oh and The stage set up was great...lots of modern visuals. It was an improvement over past stages!
