    Outdated don't waste your money

by FairCritic on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

For years I wanted to see this show live. I left very disappointed. It is outdated, it hasn't changed a bit for years (from what I saw in a video from 10 years ago) and the music is old fashioned. For sure it wasn't worth the almost $200 I paid for 2 tickets.

    Blue Man Entertaining

by Carmalita on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I went with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Fastpaced, and lots of laughs. Amazing how they can stay in character so well.

Twinkie routine brings energy down and the concert

by Suedanhim on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Engergy level was good until the Twinkie routne wihich was way too long and very boring..It took over 20 minutes to end. Also never go to a concert if you need to be told by your seat mate what is going on. If everything done on stage has to be explained in a loud voice you should not be at that concert. And if you have seen this performance before....shouting out what will happen next ..ruins it for those who havent....

    Blue Left ME Blue

by DJRP on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

This was my 3rd time to see The Blue Man Group, and unless they have a serious re-invent of their act, my last. Compared to the first time I saw them, this performance was bland. Some of the sets were drawn out and just plain boring, while the old stand-by ones are tired and have run their entertainment course. The first time I saw them, they were so energetic and funny, but now this show is about as exciting as a glass of milk. The whole cell phone act was lame, and I was actually yawning through this portion of the show. Thankfully I only paid half price for my tickets ( which was still too much for this show ), because if I had to pay full price, I would have been demanding a refund. Sorry BMG, it's time to put the blue paint away.

Fanstastic show by Blue Man Group! An experience.

by Jarvisj on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I had always wanted to go see the Blue Man group so when this opportunity came up, I just knew that I HAD to go. And our family was not disappointed. We enjoyed the show very much and are still talking about it three days later. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends. I had seen DVD's of their performance but it's just not the same as seeing it live.

    Good family entertainment

by ScurvyDawg on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The humour and music together made for an interesting and fun filled show. My wife and I had a few little things we didn't like, but the overall performance was very good. They put up a slide show for viewers to read, but my wife had difficulty with that so she was oblivious to about ten minutes of the show. The entire show ran only 1.5 hours. Not a lot for the amount of money spent on tickets. Other than that, it was really well orchestrated and the music was electric.

    Blueman was great!!

by wdlo on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The Blueman show was a great first experience for my two sons ages 9 and 13, they really enjoyed it. It was mine and my husbands second time watching a Blueman show and it was another great show. I wish I would have known that we couldn't see and read the signs though on the stage from our seats, I would never have picked the seats we sat in if I would have known that, so that was my only issue. Overall a great experience for the family!!

    BlueMan Group most entertaining

by Dapper on 2014-04-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My daughter & I found the show ever changing and surprising. Being an ex/old drummer I loved the drumming and different rhythms. They used the audience by coming out and personally getting a member to come up on stage. The episode with the girl on stage was particularly hilarious. The different sounds and rhythms while beating on the large white tubes was fascinating. There never was a dull moment.

Blue man group was just OK

by Hof64 on 2014-04-01Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My wife & I went to treat ourselves to a night out in Vancouver & chose the blue man group. We weren't exactly sure what to expect, but we were excited to go .The show itself was not bad, but it was not great either. As mentioned above, it was just OK. There were some laughs & some kinda cool things that they did, however, there were some very slow moments that just kinda seemed liked time killing . Overall, I was not wowed by this production & would never see them again . I would classify this production as a B-class show .

Blue Man Group does it Again

by QEBlue on 2014-04-01Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Loved the show. Saw them in a large venue & they were terrific. The plus for this venue was it felt more intimate.. Had a great time as did all the age groups from kids to elderly.

    Didn't meet my expectations

by BigWave2 on 2014-04-01Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

For a long time, I have wanted to see the Blue Man Group for quite a long time. When I heard they were coming to Vancouver I immediately booked tickets for my entire family. While there were some interesting and fun parts of the performance, we all found that they were too many dead spots ... Parts where the performance dragged on without much happening. We also thought there would more of them drumming. I did not feel that is was worth the money charged.

    Well worth the wait

by JayH on 2014-04-01Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I've been wanting to see the Blue Man Group for years and have for one reason or another missed several chances... until now and I am very happy to have had the experience of a wonderfully interactive art show. A truly inspiring experience of art, humour, wonderous feats... all delivered with excellent comedic timing and wrapped up in wonderfully composed and performed music. If you have the chance, take it!
