  • First Class Organization

by DartGuy on 2017-05-01Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

The Steelheads are an amazing organization with great fans. They treated me with all the respect in the world and have won over a fan!!! Any negative posts recently are clearly by sour Petes fans as i did not witness a single negative thing happen. Fans celebrated a 4 game sweep like fans of any other team would have and if you didn't like it...too bad!!!!!!!!!! Go Steel GO, Fear the Fish!!!

  • fried and over cook

by MH72 on 2017-04-29Hershey Centre  Mississauga Steelheads - mississaugaRating: 1 out of 5

disrespectful loud mouth fans and disrespectful loud mouth kids putting feet on the glass and jumping on the seats with their shoes talking about utter garbage jumping all over the place, at the end a steelhead fan taunted the petes players and piss off their fans getting almost into a fight

  • One of the best hockey games i've ever seen!

by BuAndDa on 2017-04-27Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

A very hard fought, entertaining game; lots of chances, close calls. The players worked their tails off.

  • Lots of Goals

    by Lava1964 on 2017-04-12Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 4 out of 5

This was my second visit to this arena to watch junior hockey. I love the free parking and the staff is quite friendly. I was surprised that there were fewer than 2100 people present for a playoff game on a lovely Sunday afternoon. (Metro Toronto does not support junior hockey!) There were plenty of empty seats. The game was average. The Oshawa goalie, to put it bluntly, was a sieve. One complaint about the concessions--the ketchup dispensers where I bought a hot dog and fries were already empty before the game ever began! That shouldn't happen!

  • Great hockey, and very affordable.

by Anonymous on 2017-03-22Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

My teenage son and I go to games as often as we can. Tickets are dirt cheap compared to Marlies (AHL) or Maple Leafs (NHL) tickets obviously. The food can be a bit pricy so you may wanna eat before the game, but snacks and smaller things are not too unreasonable for a hockey game. The parking is free and there are usually plenty of spaces, even near game time. Attendance is never too high so it's great for people who don't really care much for a packed house. Overall, we usually never spend more than 50 bucks for the whole night, even less if we don't buy any food. The hockey itself is fantastic as well. The Steelheads have a great team this year and they have several top NHL prospects on the team, so it's great hockey. We've been going for about 6 or 7 years now, I couldn't recommend it more to hardcore hockey fans, or even families looking for a fun, affordable night out. The events are very family friendly.

  • Hershey Centre - Good getting Better

by smileyguy on 2016-02-15Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 4 out of 5

Better food choices are badly needed - Wraps, tacos, crepes, noodles, poutine to name a few. More toppings for the hot dogs, better hot dog buns. Take a page from Nathans or Burkies dogs. Think outside the bun. -More overhead on ice lighting. Maybe LED? -More on ice activities between the periods -More points of entry into the arena for the fans -More ticket admissions staff for faster access into the arena by fans

  • Nice arena, but some audio issues!

by BuAndDa on 2016-01-25Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 3 out of 5

    1. The arena plays the music WAY too loud; I had great difficulty speaking to my friend with whom I attended the game. 2. The audio system used by the young woman who was in the stands conducting various promotions during breaks and using a wireless microphone, was 90% unintelligible. The audio was terribly garbled and tinny. She might as well have said nothing.

  • OHL hockey at the Hershey Centre

by RobBP on 2015-11-25Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

OHL hockey previews tomorrow's NHL stars. These (mostly) highschool-aged "kids" play their guts out. The quality is first rate, the facility excellent, and the cost... well, for the price of a beer at the Air Canada Centre, you can buy a ticket for a Mississauga Steelheads game! Always plenty of frss parking too.

  • McDavid!!!

by fenixzenn on 2015-02-25Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

5 stars for McDavid, what a talent and joy to watch play hockey.

  • Nice arena except for the artificial noise

by BuAndDa on 2015-02-23Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 3 out of 5

The noise level of music and random sounds from your public address system is excruciatingly loud. I wore ear plugs to the hockey game, and was still irritated and annoyed by the noise level. This is not good for anybody's sense of hearing. I wish to goodness you would tone it down. This excessive noise is becoming a very bad habit. We are not deaf, you know… At least, not yet.

  • Steelheads vs Otters

by hitmeimagoalie on 2015-02-19Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 4 out of 5

Yes Otters do feast on Steelheads although in this case, a 4-0 loss was flattering to Mississauga. Solid goaltending by call up Jacob Brennan helped ease the pain and perhaps Erie throttled down a bit. There certainly was no lack of effort by Mississauga, with every player giving it all. Of course it was the Conner McDavid show as expected. A privilege to see this young star dazzle up close. A brilliant display of skill scoring an unforgettable goal that wouldn't be out place in a game of pickup, will be forever be remembered everyone lucky enough to get a ticket. Most notably was McDavid's command of the play and total awareness as evidenced by many seemingly blind passes that were in fact crisp tape to tape. -

  • Steelheads first rate experience!

by Hockeynuts on 2015-02-19Hershey Centre - MississaugaRating: 5 out of 5

Recently went to an O.H.L. game between Mississauga Steelheads and Erie Otters. The Hersey Centre is an A1 venue for hockey, not a bad seat in the rink. The game was well played and very exciting. The Steelheads were also made available to sign autographs after the game. I encourage anyone to attend an O.H.L. at least once.
