5 stars for McDavid, what a talent and joy to watch play hockey.
The noise level of music and random sounds from your public address system is excruciatingly loud. I wore ear plugs to the hockey game, and was still irritated and annoyed by the noise level. This is not good for anybody's sense of hearing. I wish to goodness you would tone it down. This excessive noise is becoming a very bad habit. We are not deaf, you know… At least, not yet.
Yes Otters do feast on Steelheads although in this case, a 4-0 loss was flattering to Mississauga. Solid goaltending by call up Jacob Brennan helped ease the pain and perhaps Erie throttled down a bit. There certainly was no lack of effort by Mississauga, with every player giving it all. Of course it was the Conner McDavid show as expected. A privilege to see this young star dazzle up close. A brilliant display of skill scoring an unforgettable goal that wouldn't be out place in a game of pickup, will be forever be remembered everyone lucky enough to get a ticket. Most notably was McDavid's command of the play and total awareness as evidenced by many seemingly blind passes that were in fact crisp tape to tape. -
Recently went to an O.H.L. game between Mississauga Steelheads and Erie Otters. The Hersey Centre is an A1 venue for hockey, not a bad seat in the rink. The game was well played and very exciting. The Steelheads were also made available to sign autographs after the game. I encourage anyone to attend an O.H.L. at least once.
McDavid puts on a show at a sold out Hershey Centre. The kids gonna be a superstar in the NHL very soon hopefully in Blue and White.
I really enjoyed the game. I had great seats and a great view of the game. To top it off my team won.
It was a good game even though we lost to SSM ... Pop-corns, drinks are all +$4. Tickets were $20 (including taxes, and this is the higher priced ticket) ... parking is good ...
Excellent afternoon of great hockey! Hershey Centre does a great job delivering a very enjoyable experience at an affordable price. The Steeleheads and Owen Sound teams played with spirit and enthusiasm not seen by the major leagues. The crowd is what you would expect, lively and encouraging. Concession stands pump out the snacks quickly, every seat is prime and the staff are extremely courteous. Parking is easy and free! The time in between periods is well organized and entertaining. On this afternoon we had the pleasure of watching 5 year old hockey players have a game amongst themselves which was so much fun to experience. Never before had I seen youngsters at this age play with such enthusiasm for the game. It was truly a wonderful sight to see them scrambling for the puck and trying to get it to the end of the rink without the whole team falling on their behinds! Loved it. This is the second time this year I have gone to the Hershey Centre for a game and I will definitely be back!
Very well organized! Thanks for organizator and hope to see you again very soon
My family, visiting from the UK, wanted to attend a hockey game. Seeing the Leafs was not an option due to the ridiculously high cost of the tickets, snacks, transport not to mention the availability of tickets. I thought a local game would give a more representative experience and I was spot on! The game between the Steelheads and Oshawa Generals was fabulous especially with the school crowds attending to cheer them on. The mascots which ventured up and down the stadium steps interacting with the fans was welcoming. Snacks and drinks very affordable. Overall, I am more than pleased with my ticket purchase at less than $100 for 4 persons.
Seats just behind the penalty box with a great view of the game. Both teams played a fast-paced game for two periods and then the North Bay Battalion took over and showed dominance. Attendance up a few hundred from the average due to Brampton fans of their ex-team, the Battalion.
Great game. Great seats. We had a blast! Hope to be going again soon.
I went to the game with my daughter so we can spend time together. I enjoyed the game very much and plan to make it a yearly event. The location and atmosphere was very relaxing. The random prize give away was a good idea, it kept the suspense and got everyone involved even though not everyone won.
The noise level of the music played in the Hershey centre was way too loud! We complained immediately to customer services. They agreed with me. It is ear splitting, especially between periods, when people might want to sit in their seats and talk to each other. Even by moving out to the concourse, the music was much too loud. Turn it down!
Great venue. Clean and lots of seating. Like how they kept the crowd involved with random prizes and interviews.
Great hockey, future nhlers in the making all for less then parking in Toronto? Yup count me in! Good game woulda been nice to see a win but will defiantly be back for another.
Had an awesome time at the Steelheads game. Would love to see more people attend the OHL hockey. Go Steelheads go!!!!
Affordable and entertaining premier junior hockey. These young guns are highly skilled and exciting to watch.
Getting a chance to see Steve Stamkos or Jason Spezza more than once a year is not realistic for most hockey fans, unless you're a season ticket holder. Get a chance to see the future stars of the game like Staurt Percy and Connor McDavid at a reasonable price. For under $20 a ticket you're centre ice, 10 rows up in a state of the art facility that is like a mini ACC.
Excellent event. We were there as a group and oit was a truly joyful event. Great game too. The Steelheads came back to win in a penalty shootout! Wow. Thank you rgds Dylodaf
