Such a fun experience with the kids! Will definitely be going back. Dogs won too! Go dogs go!
Couldn’t see as the sheets were right behind the players box and they stood the whole time had to watch on the screen so couldn’t if watched at jone
First time in a 25 years that I've been to a game.Great atmosphere ,game was action packed. Definitely be back for another game.
We attended the January 3rd game, with a large group of family and friends including 20 children. We were all seated together and the children were VERY excited…especially to see Bruiser. They cheered, danced and called his name. He repeatedly walked passed without acknowledging them. He instead visited children a few rows ahead. They’re excitement turned to sadness and disappointment. Shame on you Bruiser…you could have given them a high five or even a wave as you passed. Total disappointment…we will not return.
Game was grwat. My son had a blast. Teddy toss is always a favorite game to go to. Consession costs a tad high for a family night out.
Great game and had a great time. Definitely going back to watch the Hamilton Bulldogs play again. I won two ticket’s to see Cirque Holiday and was on the JUMBOTRON. Great night and the price for tickets are cheap.
Awesome time at the Bulldogs game. Will definitely be back for another
The venue, location, team and overall vibe was amazing. The seats are comfy and cheap. The team is exciting to watch (even though they lost). The bar staff however is absolutely miserable. The menus for drinks are not accurate and when you order off they’re not accurate menus they get frustrated and annoying list what they have available. If it’s that annoying change the menus. Also forced to tip when you buy a drink.
Great atmosphere, game was fun to watch, and had a great overall experience. Always great going to games at First Ontario Center
Always a good family night out. Not a bad seat in the house. Only issue is high prices on concessions.
They gave us free championship rings and we beat the Oshawa Generals 5-3 so now my girlfriend has to give me $20 we had a bet best night ever
I was at the game 7 against Windsor, and I know they opened the upper bowl, so there were about 4000 more fans than usual, but I stood at one of the concessions for 50min I was there for the entire 1st intermission all the way through till 5min left in the 2nd period. There were 3 tills working at this concession, but the line I stood in was SOO bad that people were leaving & moving to the other tills. Customers were voicing their anger to the other concession workers, about how slow this one woman was. I don't know the exact spot I was at, but it was on the lower level, at one of the only concessions that sells hot chocolate, right near a season ticket table & a table selling signed sticks. The concession worker had glasses and a green streak in her hair. She was the slowest concession worker I've ever seen, and I have seasons tickets to senators games & attend at least 40 OHL games every year. There were people who got in the lines beside me, 20 spots behind me, yet they were reaching their till 10-15 people in front of me. Standing in that middle line was unlike anything I've ever seen before. This woman was being disparaged by the customers in all three lines, and i understand why. She should never be working on a till again. Find something else for her to do.
Nice to be there to see home team win and the fans were crazy!!
I grew up in Kitchener, watched the OHL and the Rangers a lot as a child. I've been living in Hamilton for almost 20 years and I'm now a father. Soccer and basketball are the sports that my kids play but we have a love for hockey and let me tell you that my son's had a ball at game 7. The Bulldogs put on a world class show both on and off the ice, it was a fantastic experience!!!
Great game, great production and a good time had by all!
On Wednesday June 15 I attended the Bulldogs Spitfires OHL Championship game. It was a very entertaining game played in front of a record crowd at Firstontario Centre. The Firstontario Centre is a great building to watch sporting events at. I had a good seat that had excellent sightlines. My only complaint about the building is the long wait at the concession stands. They are very slow.
Exciting game! Love the Bulldogs. But First Ontario Centre can't handle crowds. Long lines for washrooms. You can barely move on the concourse level. I missed half of the second period waiting in line to buy a diet Pepsi. When i got to my seat, discovered it was bitter because it expired months ago. Not enough staff either. Parking is a challenge too.
From the announcement... "Please rise for the National Anthem"... To... "Your 2022 J Ross Robertson Cup Winners, Hamilton Bulldogs" - being part of that record setting attendance crowd and watching Hamilton Bulldogs skate away with the OHL Championship, is an experience we will remember forever. My son and were there at the 2007 Bulldog AHL Calder Cup too - so "double-double memorable". Yay!
Was terrific experience. Bulldogs won Championship. Awesome atmosphere in Copps (First Choice) Only complaint is they didn’t seem prepared for the crowd which was understandable as it was short notice. However you can’t run out of food at a sporting event, which is what happened at multiple concession stands.
