About
British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

by Vanessssssa on 2011-09-18The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5Such and amazing show!! Oli Sykes is a metal god!!! Best 5 hours of my life by far!!!
Parkway Drive should have headlined
by Matius on 2011-09-14The Garrick Centre - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5BMTH is really generic and forgettable. Every song sounds the same. They had nice lighting but that was about it. Did the promoters make a mistake and put the wrong band at the top of the poster? Parkway Drive was amazing, but just a tease. They are so talented it's amazing to see them open for such a lousy band such as BMTH. I hope Parkway Drive does a proper North American tour soon!
OH MY GOD!!!
by Spikeasaurus on 2011-09-13The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5Every single bands that played, were DEFINITLEY worth the money! i highly recommened this concert to everyone.
Simply AMAZING!
by schlamper on 2011-09-13The Odeon Events Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5Went to the concert to see Parkway Drive and they were as expected... Awesome! What a performance! Once Parkway Drive was finished, on came Bring Me The Horizon. Now I don't know very many songs by them at all but they put on a great performance nonetheless! I would definitely go again if given the chance! Best show I have been to!

PWD weren't there and the other bands sucked.
by ILikeRealMetal on 2011-09-09Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5I was super excited to have Parkway Drive come to Vancouver but due to whatever immigration issues they faced they weren't able to make it. Not knowing much about the other bands and having already purchased tickets the day they came out we decided to still make a night of it and have a few drinks while listening to some metal. First band we saw had a terrible front man who seemed like he would have preferred to be a rap star. The drummer looked like he didn't really know the songs and never got into it (session drummer?). Guitarist was quite amusing and talented as was the bassist. Second band. Well, the lead singers hair made him look too pretty to be metal singer but the whole band got into it and he even crowd surfed a couple of times. We made up lyrics to amuse ourselves for this set. Third band, Bring me the horizon....wow. These guys are terrible! Probably even worse than the first band that we saw when we walked in. We ended up leaving 3 songs into their set. There were some alright riffs but the whole night seemed to be shitty metal by numbers.
