This is the second time we've attended Bubble Guppies Live at the Jubilee in Edmonton. Our kids had a fantastic time. Our seats were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. The only complaint we would have is the souvenir supplier should ship more than 30 pcs. of one item, given the amount of attendees of the event.
Fun and exciting. Kids loved it. If you love watching bubble guppies then you will love the show same catchy tunes.
The show was awesome although we purchased floor seats which made it a bit hard to see up on the stage. No worries though as the babies were dancing and clapping away, having a great time. The VIP Party could have been a little more exciting, it was fun having our pictures taken with a few of the Guppies. I would recommend this show, if it was at this venue, I would recommend seats farther back from the stage for a better view.
it was fun for everyone. lots of songs and large character costumes every seat is a good seat with the bubble guppies! my 3 yr old absolutely loved it
Play didn't started on time, few minutes late. After 20 mins or so, the play took a break of almost 30 mins. In total, the average running time of the play is less than an hour. Kids were disappointed as well as they expected more out of the show. Waste of money and time.
My sister in law and I took 5 and 7 year old girls to see Bubble Guppies. They absolutely loved it. It was so much fun to see all the little kids dancing in the aisles to all the music. The actors were very good at engaging the audience. Kids were encouraged to sing along and to answer questions as a group throughout.
I enjoyed the show very much as did my sister and my two great nephews (ages 4 and 2). The show kept them interested. The show was fairly close to the TV show in terms of approach and concept. They kept the young audience involved ... through dancing and also asking questions (similar to the TV show). At first I was a little worried as it seemed it would be mainly a rock concert ... but it wasn't ... they were looking for Bubble Puppy. So, the story line was very good. I was a little suprized that Mr Grouper didn't have a "back" to his outfit as once or twice you could see a person.
Seems like the show had just started and then it was time for break. Also was a bit too costly for the show.
My children (5&3) enjoyed seeing their favourite characters up on stage and were pretty excited when they sang the songs they knew but were not too thrilled about how loud they belted out the songs or the background music. My children enjoy listening to music and don't mind noise so they weren't just being "wimps" or complaining... often, I found it irritatingly a few notches too high, as well.
The event was great. There were a ton of crying kids, but so many more that enjoyed it. My 2 year old really enjoyed it. The venue was disappointing as there were ridiculous line ups, empty concession stands, which after waiting in a huge line with a toddler is brutal. And a $35 shirt for a 2 year old?! Give me a break.
Great show!! Very entertaining!! My 18 month old son loved it! He was in awe the entire time!!
My daughter had a great time. The storyline was good. The music was fun and the audience participation was great for getting the kids engaged in the show.
I took my 3 year old grandson to see 'Bubble Guppies Live!' at the Sony Center and he loved it; as a matter of fact so did I!. The show was fast paced and interactive engaging the children. My grandson got right into the show, singing along and following the storyline easily. Intermission was at just the right time and for just the right length of time. My grandson said it was 'very awesome!' ... I agree.
The event was great I have never went out on my own to buy tickets for events like this cause I would always get horrible seats but this was amazing the seats werent too far back anywhere you sat it was great especially since it was FOR CHILDREN my daughter and I as well were entertained from start to finish I will definitely be purchasing tickets to see the bubbles guppies next time they are in town!
For the money we paid, we were very disappointed & our grandkids were so so about it. I just like getting my monies worth & don't think I'll do it again.
Short and sweet! Kids loved it! Great theatre, easily accessible.
My daughter was excited to see the show...wanted to get dressed up..we drove downtown..parked and in we went. The show was slow, volume wasn't very loud and there seemed to be more action coming from this weird lobster character than from the Bubble Guppies. It was perhaps 30 minutes (not longer) when they went to intermission. All the parents where we were sitting were wondering why it was called so early Imagine tons of toddlers running around in the lobby. Snack bar was sold out of popcorn and didn't have much else. My child wanted to leave..after a 15 minute intermission with no end in sight we left. I let a Sony Centre employee know how and why we were leaving. Wasted $100 in my opinion
This was an event I will never forget. It was well organized for the kid. It was comfortable. I would do it all over again
Riveting and thought-provoking. A real emotion roller-coaster.
