    Caillou's Greatest Skate of All

by babybean on 2010-11-18Kelowna Community Theatre - Kelowna

I've taken my daughter to all the shows that have come to town. (eg. Sesame Street, Max and Ruby and The Wiggles) This show was just very plain.......there was pretty much no props........I kept waiting for something exciting to happen. I think my daughter still enjoyed it, but it was definitly not something I would recommend to anyone.

    Caillou's great for all ages

by emmnemms on 2010-11-18Kelowna Community Theatre - Kelowna

This was the first time I took my 4 yr old son to an event like this, and he was completely "wowed" by it. He asked to go again the next day! Very good performance.

We all very much enjoyed the show! Our son LOVES hockey, so he was in heaven watching Caillou playing hockey- Both of our kids were dancing the whole time! Good team work!

cute show for the younger set

by KatJ on 2010-11-17The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Cute show - skating was a nice touch - limited plot - bit slow paced - good for kids 2-5 not much older - Gilbert the Cat was hilarious! Souvenirs - as always - were a bit pricey.

    Caillou was great

by MiaHailey on 2010-11-16The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

My daughter had a blast she loved it the only thing we would of liked better would of been if she would of been able to meet and take a picture with him it's sad just because she didn't win in the contest that she couldn't do that she just a little kid I think they should all get to do it

My 4 year old enjoyed Caillou

by Lesha on 2010-11-16The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Caillou was a costumed play with basic props and I thought it would be more elaborate, for whatever reason. I guess I didn't know what to expect when the ad for the event features a cartoon picture. It was short but well done. I was surprised at how quickly there was a 15 minute break ... show started at 1pm and break started at 1:30pm! The event as a whole was quite short ... 1.5 hours, I believe. I thought it was "okay" ... but my daughter, who is almost 4, just loved it and ultimately, it's her opinion that truly matters in this case. She was devastated when it was over.

Overall a disappointment---very short show, poor seats, program fine for 3-4 year olds. My 6 year old Grandson lost interest quickly..

    Caillou dissapointing

by Ronnie1 on 2010-11-15Bell Performing Arts Centre - Surrey

Was quite disappointed in the performance, suppose to be about ice hockey but not quite sure where the figure skater in roller skates came into it? also when Caillou came out to play hockey with his stick he had no puck and my two year old noticed this right away , really felt they did not hold the young kids attention most looked quite bored with it all. Really thought for what we paid have seen better in School productions. Went to see Max and Ruby and thought although short and sweet at least better show overall.

    Fair concert for kids

by Anonymous on 2010-11-15Bell Performing Arts Centre - Surrey

Good for the kids to see Caillou but the storyline lacked a bit to keep them entertained. They lost interest after about 20 mins. Were some gaps in the production with sound not lining up at the right times but overall it was fair performance.

    over priced

by Sugarfly on 2010-11-15Bell Performing Arts Centre - Surrey

I thought that it was a little over priced for what it was. For a 1 hour performance, I think the tickets should have been cheaper. To make it worth while I think it would have been great if the characters came out to meet the kids after the show. That being said, my 2 year old did love it and actually sat still the entire performance. The 15 min break was a good idea. The actors were good.

    Caillou was excellent

My 3 year old niece loved the show. She wants to see it again, and next time we'll bring her little brother. Good for all ages!
