Poor food at Paramount Fine Foods Centre

by MeanButRight on 2020-02-05Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

it's snack food, bar food. nothing notably nutritious. Same stuff it's had for many years, even when named Hershey centre. I prefer seeing salads, vegetables, etc. Get creative, and live up to the Paramount Fine Foods name. If not, then change the name--it's presently doesn't reflect the offerings.

A very well organized event lines moved very smoothly!

by M. on 2020-01-28Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

A very enjoyable event we attended all the senior events this year. Getting into the facility was very well organized and lineups moved smoothly. One improvement would be to offer more healthy food options as there are no close by restaurants to walk to in between events. Very professional and friendly staff and volunteers!

    Was great BUT...

by Jb on 2020-01-22Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

    1. The food is not healthy and expensive and you can't take in food or drink, not even water. 2. Friday was comfortable in the stands but Saturday we were all freezing!!! Why such a difference??

Nationals Are Always Fun and Exciting!

by Barb on 2020-01-21Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

THE GOOD - The skating itself was a lot of fun to watch. Our skaters performed with passion and determination; the fans were amazingly supportive no matter how the performance was going; the event was well organized by skate Canada and the venue was warmer than most. THE BAD - Food and beverages not being allowed is ridiculous. The food provided is terrible and not at all healthy. Many of us were there all day every day and didn't have access to decent food. THE UGLY - getting tickets - Oh My! At one point it was announced that tickets were sold out, They are rarely sold out for this event and certainly were far from it this time. The person who sold me a ticket printed it for the wrong day and I was told that they were unable to change it. Because I really wanted to go I had to buy a second ticket for the same event spending $120 instead of $60. She admitted the mistake was hers and was "sorry" that it couldn't be fixed!

    Paramount Fine Foods

by n. on 2020-01-21Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

The event itself was an amazing event well planned on time and very entertaining. The problem was actually the venue itself. We weren’t allowed to bring our own food and drinks into the facility. My daughter and I were there from 9.30am to 10.30pm. We did not leave the venue all day. The only food offerings that they were serving were fries, nuggets, pizza, popcorn, chips, ice cream, peanuts, pop, wine and beer. For a sporting event the food was so unhealthy it did not reflect on healthy sports at all. Again the fact that we were not allow to bring food in and these were the only options. My daughter and I had no other choice but to eat, fries for lunch popcorn for snack and ice cream for dinner. The fact that they are promoting Paramount Fine Foods. There was nothing fine about it.
