    Kids area was great

It was nice to see that the kids area was close to the Expo centre for washrooms and such.

    My First Capital Ex -perience

Overall, I thought it was what I expected but on a smaller scale when compared to the CNE in Ontario.

Kids had an amazing time. It was great having the indoor area for the kids this year to get a break from the heat. Great layout, the grounds were clean and there was so much to do. We got the Ride all Day passes in advance which made it very cost effective. Will definitely come back next year! The train was also a big hit with the kids.

    not so happy

by boommer on 2010-08-03Edmonton Northlands Grounds - Edmonton

i was not too happt. kiddy land was not as nice as last year and it was connected to the adult area there were smokers all over the place and no security anywhere to stop them. if you try to stop them it has turned into a huge fight in the past so we just move along.everything seemed so squished and when they have all that room with all the new parking and the new building i just do not see why they moved kiddy land .. there also seemed to be less concerts and less shows in rexall and it just seemed less for your money when you pay sooo much before you even enter. there should be a sale pass that you pay like 50 bucks and for a family to ride and park or something.

Not enough rides (what happened to the scrambler???). Was disappointed the rides in the agricom were not part of the pass.

If you purchase an all day pass, hit the rides early in the day as the line-ups after 4:00 are horrible.

Great Time, very little wait on for the rides

by HeavyT on 2010-08-02Edmonton Northlands Grounds - Edmonton

Had a very enjoyable time at Capital Ex. With all the work that had been done the layout was very easy to get around. The line up were not as long as pasted years. Look forward to next year already
