Among the best performance we’ve ever seen, likely the very best!! Brilliant choreography, dancers, interpretation, staging. Everything about this performance was superb!! Would love to see more by this choreographer and dance company. Only regret is that we saw one of the last performances.

Carmen was by far the best show I have seen in the past 5 years. It was art at its best. The choreography, decor, performances, they are were amazing. I am so glad I went to see Carmen.

the use of the moving set, choreography, music, costumes, lighting etc was amazing. the dancers moved their bodies passion ! one of the best things I have ever seen on stage and I have seen a lot of performances all over the world ! i was confused when booking my tkts as I could not find how to apply the discount code and paid full price. when I spoke to the box office about it they told me that there was an unlock tab before selecting my seat. never heard of this process.

Watched Carmen by Compañía Nacional de Danza, on Saturday Feb 3! Never thought a story could be told in form of a ballet and yet be so impactful, without a word ever spoken! I felt that there were some thematic elements I didn’t understand. However, given this is my first ever performing art’s performance attendance, I’ll attribute it to my lack of understanding of those elements. Overall, I was fascinated, and in awe of the work by the artists and artwork and the overall presentation.

This ballet should have a different name, it has nothing to do with the opera Carmen. In my opinion, ther are using the famous opera name to drag people to the theatre. The dancers are very good, but they are dancing something else. I did not feel any of the emotions I feel listening or looking at the original. It was dissapointed, to say the least.

There were at least 5 instances where the coordination was obviously lacking among the dancers
