  • CATS was Tremendous

by BigGCanada on 2017-09-27Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Watched this show for the first time since seeing it in London over 20 years ago! This show and cast were excellent and my daughter loved it. The theater was the perfect size and not many bad seats in my opinion (not in the orchestra seats anyway). The music was great, just a great show overall. Very good entertainment!!!

  • Horrible

by CHKL on 2017-04-25Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

This was one of the worst musicals I have ever seen. At intermission 4 rows of people did not return to see the end. Go see a different show!!

  • Wow!

The story itself is a little lacking but it makes that up with the costumes, dancing and singing.

Took my daughter (20) to see CATS. This was the first musical she saw (VHS) she was 2. Always wanted to see it on Broadway and it was amazing. Was everything she expected and more.

  • Broadway play CATS

The play was great! Finally had the opportunity to watch it. First you want to dance to it, then cry.

  • Great show with talented cast

by EasternCanada on 2016-12-28Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This cars revival show had talented cast and a huge set. It was thoroughly entertaining with many versions of the main song "Memories". The actors and singers were excellent performers. The theater is a bit older but has its charm. This show has two parts.

  • Cats was amazing

by Gizmo24 on 2016-12-16Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

My first Broadway show and it was amazing. The costumes, choreography and singing were excellent. I would highly recommend the show.

  • As good as the first time

by Hasbeen49 on 2016-10-09Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

My friend and I first saw Cats' original London production. The venue was more intimate and it was a simpler time than now. This cast has captured the innocence and magic of that simpler time and made it its own. The audience knows that the cast loves performing Cats. The only disappointment was with Griselda but not enough to not want to see it again.

  • an amusing boredom

by Ocep on 2016-09-28Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

the decor was excellent, with lights all over the ceilling and beautiful moon background. many ballet inspired movements and also tap dance. I only know one song, who were quite touchy, others are so so. there's no story plot, only exposé of characters with their stories that sometimes boring. But time flies and with some UVO tires saucer, explosions and flying effects, the boredom was quite amusing. though I didn't succeed to sell one of my tickets online, I think the price of my seat was quite okay, not a good price but okay.

  • A terrible production of a tired musical

by BmanToronto on 2016-09-21Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

What a train wreck. I have fond memories of seeing Cats in London years ago, and this production had none of that energy. We had a lot of understudies in our show (including the lead) and many couldn't even deliver their songs without panting through the lyrics. Choreography was solid, but very dated. Sets and costumes were like a high school production. We couldn't wait to leave.
