Rather than catching her on tour, fans in recent years have been making the pilgrimage to the 4,000-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to see Celine Dion perform. Tickets remain highly sought after for the "Celine" production's 70 shows each year, a testament to the French-Canadian singer's enduring star power. The concerts are crowd-pleasing affairs featuring performances of hits from her nearly three decades in the music business, including "My Heart Will Go On," "Titanic Theme," and "The Reason," as well as some of her favorite songs popularized by others. In 2013, Dion released a new album titled "Loved Me Back To Life," songs from which she was expected to incorporate into her Vegas setlist. Dion has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide over her career, making her one of the top-selling female artists in history. She's achieved those numbers despite putting her career on hold in 1999, when her popularity was at its peak, to start a family and spend time with her husband and manager, Rene Angelil, who was battling cancer at the time. She began her first Vegas residency in 2003.

    Celine was AMAZING...what ruined it was the pre-show

    It's Celine. Need we say more? She's spectacular. 5 out of 5. But it's 4 out of 5 this time because the pre-show was inappropriate. Audience members took the opportunity to expose themselves while their images were projected on the big screen. Instead of the camera operators switching away, the cameras stayed on them as they gyrated and lifted their clothing. There are kids in the audience! I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to witness this especially in these #MeToo days!

    My two daughters and I went to see Celine. The last concert I took my daughter Ashley was in 1997 and she wore the t-shirt I bought her back then when she was only 10 years old. We really enjoyed Celine, she set the bar super high. I have always been a huge fan and I created two more fans, my daughters. They grew up listening to me always playing Celine Dion's music in my car and home. I saw a lot of changes in her style on stage and embrace those changes, the dancing, the outfits etc. Welcome home Celine!

    Celine was amazing. She sounded perfect. The venue was great. Staff are always fantastic. Helpful in directing to seats. Facility was clean. Concerts at Scotia Bank are always well managed.

    Céline is the consummate performer. She draws you in chats with us makes us feel like an old friend and then when she sings it’s electric and you feel every single emotion. Her voice is unreal it’s perfection like the record is playing. She looks BEAUTIFUL!!! You remember where you were and what you were doing when you heard those songs and can’t help but get emotional. We had an amazing time. And we must see her again. We love you Céline!!

    Great overall experience, but fans need to be respectful

    We loved Celine Dion. She is an incredible performer with a wonderful voice. She has brought so much joy to the world and as a big fan, we love her. What a fabulous performance and the music, the songs choices, and costumes were all excellent! We would love to see her again! My only issue is that our fellow fans need to be respectful to other fans. The couple ahead of us was standing up and moving about the entire performance - it was very difficult for the fans behind them to enjoy the performance. We paid a lot of money for our tickets and from our perspective, part of the experience was a letdown because of these disrespectful fans. You can love Celine Dion without being disrespectful to your fellow human beings.

    Greatest performance I’ve ever seen!!

    From the beginning to the end, Celine Dion gave an outstanding performance filled with enthusiasm and positivity all around. She is an icon and she definitely brought everything she’s learned in Vegas to her show on Tuesday night. The lighting, music, visual effects really stood out and made the night that much more magical. It was definitely a night to remember. I can’t wait for her to return for another show in the near future, hopefully.

    The show was exceptional. Her performance, her voice the lighting . I laughed, I sand , I cried, I danced. Please bring her back. I drove 5 hours and in a storm to see her and I’m glad I did. I would love her to come to Sudbury.
