This is the third time we've heard the Celtic Tenors in concert. They just keep getting better. Very funny, talented, and personable!!
Enjoyed the concert. Being Irish myself was like being in Ireland. Their voices have so much strength and the whole event was wonderful. Like taking a journey through Ireland. Have been to Ireland some time ago and would like to go again.
Great concert, I must say, but never go to a concert like that paying $40 and then having to listen to the droning of the one-arm bandits in the background at the McPhilipps Str. Casino in Winnipeg.
Their voices are good, not exceptional, however they have no energy, passion ,whit or humor. Where were the original Irish jokes or one liners? Very disappointing!
very good show! good value! The only thing was the mixture between Christmas and the rest of the show. Perhaps the Christmas portion could be separated with a finale of Silent Night for example. Perhaps the casino might not be the right venue for this show because of the background casino noise.
We were most impressed by the fact that the wonderful piano background music didn't drown out the tenors. Too often you see performers with so much backup music you can't hear them. The only sad part of the nite was the fact that the clock in the theatre was almost a half hour fast so the tenors stopped singing by 9:45 p.m. We would've liked to hear them for the full 2 hrs. Hope they'll return in the near future.
It was a wonderful show, their voices are so wonderful. They seemed to be having fun up there and letting the crowd join in with them
