Cheap Trick Tickets

Always wanted to see Cheap Trip and outside seemed like a cool opportunity. There never should have been so many lawn chairs allowed, or they should have been designated areas for them. Designated in the back. Trooper made a comment about the lame audience. He's right the audience was lame because half of them were sitting down right in front of the stage not rocking out. Where I was standing was rudely nudged out by some geriatrics elderly son who was trying to line up their chairs behind another row of chairs. Rude entitled people made the evening kind of sucky. The bands sounded good though. Drinks are always ridiculously expensive for a closed event. No one would buy their drinks if they were allowed to come and go.

I love Cheap Trick! I really do ❤️. But the VIP pass I got for this show was a little disappointing. Having a designated concert area doesn’t really compare to getting special concert memorabilia, or a photo op with the band. Something to take home would have made the event perfect for me. But I still love Cheap Trick! My fave American band 🤘🏻

I enjoyed the night. Good show, good sound and nice behaved crowd. Got to talk and take pics with Howard Manchein AND Kevin Donnelly. Class acts and nice people. Great night

I was really waiting to see Cheap Trick for the first time. Never was able to see them when I was younger. I expected a lot more but it seemed like they were dis-interested in being in Winnipeg on Sunday. I was very disappointed with what I saw and heard. As they had so many great songs they could have played.

The bands all were great. Had VIP tickets but disappointed that all the seats were taken and had to phone home to have a lawn chair delivered. Cheap Trick played new songs by son which I would have love to hear more of their classic tunes. Overall a great time at a great price looking forward to next year

Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor concert. Great Bands: Cheap Trick and Trooper. Both of us thought that Trooper was outstanding even though the crowd was a bit on the mellow side. I think that was due to the venue. People didn't stand probably out of respect for those behind and not wanting to block their view.

Great band, played most of the hits, though the sound quality was not quite there…

I had never heard of openers the Haileys before Sunday night at the Burt Block Party, however I believe I will be hearing lots from them in the future. They were incredible. Funny to say I saw Trooper considering there are no more original members left in the band, but they sounded great. If I didn’t know there were no original members on stage, I don’t think I would’ve known, the still sound like trooper. I was there for headliners Cheap Trick, which I’ve seen many times, as with Trooper, over the years, and they did not disappoint. Even at 74 years old Robin Zander can still hit the high notes and growl like he did at 24. The block party set up was excellent. I am in a wheel chair and the accessible seating area was awesome. My only complaint is; there wasn’t enough food vendors or variety. Overall a great experience.

I love this event. There is something ethibg special about live music, outdoors, in downtown Winnipeg. It's rare that you get an opportunity to just stand and appreciate our architecture, weather, people, and of course great music. Everytime I'm at the block party I realize a deeper appreciation for our city. Something a younger me never thought I'd see in my community. It's a highlight of my summer 2 years running now, and I can't wait till next year. A huge shout out to all of the volunteers and staff who puts this event on. It's been an incredible experience every time.
