    VERY DISAPPOINTING

    by Natalie0673 on 2018-08-17Budweiser Stage - Toronto

OUT OF ALL THE CONCERTS THAT WE HAVE ATTENDED THIS YEAR, THIS 1 BY FAR WAS THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. REO SPEEDWAGON WAS PRETTY GOOD, THE SINGER KEVIN STRUGGLED A BIT & THROUGH A FEW SONGS BUT AT LEAST THEY SANG THEIR HITS. CHICAGO HAS SO MANY HITS BUT YET DECIDED THAT INSTEAD OF PLAYING THEM, THEY WERE ONLY GOING TO PUT ON AN INSTRUMENTAL SHOW.....WTF, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN AN EPISODE OF THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY. THEY DID SING A FEW (MAYBE 3 HITS) WE USUALLY STAY RIGHT UNTIL THE END OF THE ENCORE BUT THIS WAS THE ONLY TIME THAT WE DIDN'T WAIT, WE LEFT & WE WEREN'T THE ONLY ONES EITHER.

REO and Chicago stand the test of time!

Chicago was who I went to see and they did not disappoint, although played quite a bit of lesser known songs at start. Love their sound!!

    Chicago was aweful

by Bradia on 2018-08-14Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The bands were really loud. When the lead singer was speaking you could not understand what he was saying because it just sounded muffled. Chicago played and obscure old album that only die hard fans would know. If they wanted to play that whole album that is fine but mix it in with the hits. We left after 8 songs from that album. We knew nothing that they were playing and all the horns made the songs twice as long as they normally would be.

Had never seen REO Speedwagon and they sounded great, lively entertainment. Saw Chicago last year and they were just as good this year. Not disappointed

Chicago was fantastic!! Tight tight band.

by Anonymous on 2018-08-13Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Chicago was fantastic!! Tight tight band. Musicianship was outstanding. Vocals incredible. I wish it'd gone on for another 2 hours!! REO Speedwagon was also fun, though I think the quality of the sound system for the vocals could have been better.

    TWO OF MY FAVORITES

by SKUNKYWEINER on 2018-08-13Budweiser Stage - Toronto

REO SPEEDWAGON PLAYED ALL MY FAVORITES EXCEPT HERE WITH ME, BUT THE SONGS THEY PLAYED WERE WELL PLAYED AND ENTHUSIASTIC. CHICAGO WAS AMAZING WITH THE 10(!) MAN GROUP THEY PLAYED WITH. IF I HAD KNOWN THEY PLAYED TOGETHER SO WELL, I WOULD HAVE GONE TO MORE OF THEIR CONCERTS

Not a good show don’t waste your money

by Anonymous on 2018-08-12Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Sound quality was poor. I saw Doobie Bros and Steele Dan a month prior sound was far better. Chicago only played their hits second half if the show, everyone was looking at each other wondering what the hec was this. When playing to an audience paying good money for tickets, 50 bucks for the train the 15 bucks for a beer we want to hear hits not an experimentation as Pankow put it. Saw Chicago last year in Hamilton they were awesome this was disappointing. Usually attend several big shows each year and many smaller venues/acts. So not a newbie.
