Chris Young on Tour
By his 33rd birthday, RCA Records Nashville artist Chris Young has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments, including membership in the iconic Grand Ole Opry, eleven career No. 1 singles, seventeen R.I.A.A. Gold/Platinum/Multi-Platinum certified projects, 2 Grammy nominations, 3 Country Music Association nominations and 4 Academy of Country Music nominations. As a prolific creator, Chris has given fans 7 studio albums in 12 years including Losing Sleep, his third project in less than two years. The title track is certified Platinum while "Hangin' On" is his ninth No. 1 as a songwriter. Losing Sleep (2017) and I'm Comin' Over (2015) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart with "I'm Comin' Over" becoming Young's first 2x Platinum single.
Named "one of his era's finest traditionalists" by the Associated Press, Chris has quickly become an international ambassador for country music, performing to capacity crowds around the world including the sold-out C2C Festival in the UK. With a hit-packed set that highlights his eleven chart-toppers — including back-to-back No. 1s "Losing Sleep," "Sober Saturday Night," "Think Of You," and "I'm Comin' Over" — the Grammy and ACM nominated vocalist headlined the Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour, with more than 55 arena and amphitheater shows including his first hometown headlining stop at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena playing to a capacity crowd of nearly 14,000 fans, friends and family.
2019 brings new music - the just-released anthem, "Raised On Country," and a new arena headlining tour.
It was an awesome concert. Chris and his band were great!!!
Chris Young is a great entertainer. He engaged the crowd throughout the show.
We found the instrumentals volume overpowered his voice making it difficult to hear the song. So we would have enjoyed it more if he could have been heard more clearly. It was too loud to enjoy as it should have been.
Great performance, talented artist, funny, humble. Loved it!
Fantastic show one of the most talented singers out there.
The song selection was amazing. A great balance of old and new. My only critique was that Chris needs to involve his audience more. You could hear the audience belting out the words but there were only short spans(one line) where he let the audience take over. Great performance!
First time seeing him in a full concert and it was amazing. A little disappointed cause I felt like it could have gone a little longer. When you attend a concert with a headliner they normally sing for 2 hours and this one was maybe hour and 20 minutes. Even with it being shorter it was great. I liked the venue first time attending a concert there and no matter where you sat the seats would be great. Enjoyed the intimacy of the setting.
Our rating is for the show only. Chris Young put on a great show. He did all his greatest hits. We really appreciated the acoustic songs as they really showcased his voice. Would go again. Dinner at Vittorios prior to the show was great. The only complaint was about Momentum the new management company for Fallsview. With $35 parking and more expensive bus tours the place was empty other than show patrons. The staff have not been very friendly and helpful like the past management. Not a very welcoming experience.
Unfortunately I’m sure Chris Young was amazing performing but I had to leave due to the stressful surroundings. Everyone is packed in like sardines, you can’t stand to cheer on the artist. Nobody knows who he even is because they’re all geriatric and got these tickets for free by signing away their mortgage to spend all their money at the casino. The bar is closed, because of COVID yet I can sit next to 1400 others just fine… so no drinks, not even water… pretty sure that’s a basic necessity but okay. It’s awful, do not recommend the Avalon EVER. I felt as though I was in church.
The show was great. A little short, only an hour and a half. We were surprised there was no merchandise or drinks available for sale prior to the show. But Chris Young is an amazing entertainer and we will be seeing him again for sure.
first time in my life to walked out from a concert while it is still playing.
Second time seeing Chris Young play already looking for another concert to attend.
Amazing concert Chris is very talented and funny
This was a very entertaining show that had the crowd on it's feet from start to finish. I really enjoy his music but his stage presence lead to an outstanding concert. The atmosphere in the Colosseum was electric!
Chris Young is an amazingly talented artist. Thoroughly enjoyed his concert.
Awesome concert no back up band so right to the main show, it was great
This was my 2nd time seeing Chris Young in concert and he was amazing! He's very humble, and took the time to thank his fans for making him who he is today. I loved that he talked about what was going on in his life when different singles were released. He's definitely a crowd pleaser. You can tell he has a lot of fun with his band both on and off stage. And the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor is always a great venue. I do hope that he comes back here to us again! An overall great night!
Very small venue so it was great. Chris was amazing loved how he stops and talks to the audience. Staff at Seneca were very helpful and friendly.
Best country singer! Every song was a delight to listen and sing too! You cannot help singing to every song and knowing every word! We never sat down the whole time! My first Chris Young concert and will not be my last!! His voice is such a treat to listen to and my husband had a great time and remarked that it was the first concert everyone was up from the first song of the first opening act! Chris and Cassadee delighted everyone with their hit song Think of you and in the end Chris brought everyone back out for a song and it was a great ending! Chris Young is a country singer that will continue to get better over time and I look forward to watching him get the recognition he deserves!
